  One of the best gyms to train at. Not only does it help me physically and it also helps me mentally. I feel like this gym has helped me more in terms of regulating my mindset and getting used to around large groups of people, as that is something I struggled with before I trained Jiu jitsu in itself. And this is all down to the environment and people who constantly strive to be better. Coach Asim is very flexible in terms of how he shows specific moves, whether you’re an experienced grappler or completely new to it. Coach Asim has built an amazing environment here and deserves all the credit.

  Excellent experience at this place, I went from knowing absolutely nothing about BJJ not having ever done martial arts once in my life to being able to grapple within weeks. Coach Asim is a greatly talented teacher with all the skills, I was greeted with a friendly atmosphere in a professional setting and got stuck in. The hygiene on and off the mat is amazing, the quality and quantity of the skills taught are like no other. All around an excellent place for beginners and experts. If you are looking to get into BJJ or find a community to spar with then 5050 submission and grappling should be your first choice. Top marks!

  Amazing and very friendly environment to be apart off. Coach Asim is extremely down to earth and polite, constantly providing knowledge and tips. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to start out a combat sport for the first time.

  I have been attending the adult classes since the gym opened and have made tremendous progress. Partly due to the fantastic depth of knowledge and experience held by coach Asim, and partly down to the level of my other team-mates in the gym. To put this into perspective, After being a white-belt for 2 years at another gym and never having trained in the gi, I entered a blue-belt division in competition within 2 months of training under Asim and won without having a single point scored on me, then went on to beat a brown belt in the absolute division. Shortly after this, coach felt that I had reached his standard for a blue belt. I have confidence in Asim's coaching, because he holds his team to a high standard, and I have respect for him, because he holds himself to a higher standard still. Coaching aside, perhaps the greatest selling point of 5050 is our team, for 2 reasons. Firstly, the standard in the room is always good. On one of the quieter classes, you can expect one black belt, often one or two brown belts, at least one purple belt (but often more) 2 or 3 blue belts, and a couple of white belts to boot. Secondly, the atmosphere is always humble, encouraging, and fun, everyone is there to develop in the sport of Jiu Jitsu, and see their team-mates succeed. I am glad to have joined 5050 submission grappling, and so will you be. See you on the mats.

  Such a welcoming place to train!! Excellent atmosphere and facilities! I’m big on hygiene so nice clean mats and overall cleanliness was a massive plus! The coach has top knowledge and explains things well which makes it easy to understand. Defo recommended!

  Really good bjj gym in high wycombe. I found everyone friendly and the place clean. The coach is a high level black belt who regularly competes so you are getting the proper martial arts bjj experience not the phony self defence style some gyms teach
