Northglenn has a busy local BJJ calendar driven largely by in-house club competition. New Era runs most of the events here, including its long-running in-house summer tournament and winter in-house events for adults.
The Solid Series Fall Open has also run in the area, and an event has been held in nearby Superior. These smaller events are a useful starting point for newer competitors before moving on to larger regional opens.
Both Gi and No-Gi divisions are offered across the listed events, and around half include an absolute division. Kids divisions appear at roughly one in six events. May is by far the busiest month, followed by December, with occasional events in June, July and November.
