Knoxville has a small BJJ competition calendar, with events held in the city through the year. The It's a Tap Submission Series is the most regular grappling event, and Grappling Industries has also held a Knoxville tournament. Some local events combine grappling with striking divisions, so check each listing for the BJJ brackets.
Gi divisions are slightly more common than No-Gi, and almost half of events include an absolute division. Kids divisions appear at around one in ten events. October is the busiest month, followed by June and March.
