Kirkland has a regular BJJ tournament calendar on Seattle's Eastside, with an occasional event in nearby Monroe. The Mayhem Open is the most frequent event, and GBK runs Gi and No-Gi tournaments here. NAGA has also held its Washington Grappling Championship in the area.
Around two in three events offer Gi and No-Gi divisions, and a similar share include kids and absolute divisions. June is the busiest month, followed by August and December, with events also in February and November.
