Estero hosts BJJ tournaments for southwest Florida, with events also held in nearby Fort Myers.
FUJI BJJ is the main organizer, running the FUJI BJJ Fort Myers Fall, Winter and Summer Championships, the FUJI BJJ Florida State Championship and the FUJI BJJ Pan Americans Championship. NAGA runs the NAGA Fort Myers Grappling Championship, and Chickjitsu has held a girls-only event in the area. Most events offer both Gi and No-Gi, and most include kids divisions. September is by far the busiest month.
