Denver is Colorado's main BJJ competition hub, hosting a busy calendar of national and local events throughout the year.
Grappling Industries Denver is the most frequent event, returning several times a year. F2W's Colorado State Championship, United Grappling, NAGA's Denver Grappling Championship and the World Series of Jiu-Jitsu also hold events in the city. Locally, the Colorado Wolverines run the COWO tournament series with separate kids and adult events.
Around 60% of events offer both Gi and No-Gi, and over 40% include kids divisions. Adult entries start at around $30 for local events. October and November are the busiest months.
