Barrington hosts FUJI BJJ's Chicago area events, with some tournaments also held in nearby Buffalo Grove and Northbrook. The FUJI BJJ Chicago Fall Open is the most frequent event, alongside the FUJI BJJ Chicago Spring Open and Summer Open. The Chewjitsu Open Chicago has also been held here.
Many events offer both Gi and No-Gi divisions, and kids divisions are common. September is the busiest month, followed by May and October, with occasional events in April and June.
