The road to the 2027 Velocity Grappling Series Championship begins here.

Compete in the first official Velocity Grappling Series Qualifier and earn your opportunity to advance to the 2027 VGS Championship.

This is a premier Adults & Advanced Teens No-Gi event built for athletes looking to test themselves under the Velocity Grappling Series ruleset. Every match matters, and every victory brings you one step closer to competing for the 2027 VGS Championship belt.

Event Format

• Double Elimination
• Adult & Advanced Teens No-Gi Jiu-jitsu
• VGS Ruleset
• 6-Minute Matches
• Final Championship round best 2-3 | 3x3 min matches 
• Overtime round 6 min.
• Judges' Decision if no submission

• Teens Final Championship 3 round 5 Min first submission wins or judges decision.

Divisions 

We are looking for the best of the best at each weight division to compete for a belt at the Grand Prix 2027 VGS Championship Finals.

Adult No-Gi (16 man bracket)

• Featherweight 65kg open rank

Teens No-Gi Ages 15-17 (16 Athlete bracket)

      Featherweight under 145.5

Qualification

The top finishers from each division will advance toward the 2027 Velocity Grappling Series Championship Belt with grand prize

• All competitors are guaranteed at least two matches.

Registration Fees

Regular Registration: $80

Late Registration: $100 

Registration is limited to 16 competitors per division (Teens & Adults). Once a division is full, registration will close. Register early to secure your spot.
