Absolute Division Rules
- Match Length: 6 Minutes
- First 3 Minutes:Submission OnlyNo Points

- If no submission occurs, the competitor with the highest point total at the end of regulation is declared the winner.

Youth Safety Rules
- A coach or parent may verbally tap for their child.
- Referees may stop a submission before a tap if they believe the athlete is in danger.
- Accidental illegal techniques generally result in a reset unless the move was intentional or reckless.

Yes. Men's and women's absolute divisions are offered for Intermediate and Expert competitors only.
What is the prize for the absolute division?

What are the absolute division match rules?
Absolute division matches are 6 minutes. The first 3 minutes are submission only with no points, and points become active for the final 3 minutes; if there is no submission, the highest point total at the end of regulation wins.
