The next generation of tournaments is coming to Nashville!

After decades of success in East TN, Classic Combat is expanding into Middle Tennessee with our first tournament there: The Middle Tennessee Open (MTO1).

Classic Combat is known for hosting tournaments that let competitors compete across multiple disciplines at one family-friendly, competitive event. When you register for MTO1, you can compete in two striking divisions (kickboxing and point fighting) and two grappling divisions (gi and no-gi). Many competitors walk away with 6 or more matches in a day.

We're excited to partner with Tony Williams and The Lebanon Dojo to make this another successful event. We hope you'll join us for the first-ever Middle Tennessee Open.

⚠ No day-of registration for competitors. All competitors must register by midnight, December 2, 2026. Spectators may purchase tickets at the door.

🎟 Spectator Admission

All spectators ages five & up need to purchase a wristband to enter.

$10 per person
Pay at the door (cash or card) or during online registration.

💵 Refund Policy

Refund requests before September October 1 will receive a voucher for next year’s tournament.
If a competitor is alone in their bracket and cannot be moved to a suitable division, a full refund will be issued.
No refunds or vouchers for adult fighters who miss weight.

Kickboxing$75
A semi-contact, no-knockout sparring match that emphasizes skill, control, technique, and athlete safety in a continuous sparring format. This division is designed exclusively for amateur competitors.
Point Fighting$75
A karate kickboxing style match where two competitors fight with the primary goal of scoring defined points, using well-controlled legal techniques with speed, agility, balance, and focus.
Gi Grappling$75
A submission-based grappling match conducted in the traditional gi that rewards submission attempts and positional dominance.
No-Gi Grappling$75
A submission-based grappling match conducted in a rashguard and shorts that rewards submission attempts and positional dominance.
