Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for the event?

Registration is via the federal extranet (INSCRIPTION SUR L'EXTRANET FÉDÉRAL).

Do I need to bring a license to compete?

Presentation of the FFLDA licence is mandatory (Présentation obligatoire de la licence FFLDA).

When are the weigh-ins and competition scheduled?

The programme lists HORAIRE PESÉE (weigh-in schedule) and HORAIRE COMPÉTITION (competition schedule), but no specific times are provided here and the organiser reserves the right to modify the schedules.

What competition formats will be used?

The event follows the FFLDA competition system: fewer than 6 wrestlers — round-robin (tous les lutteurs se rencontrent); 6 or 7 wrestlers — two pools with round-robin within each pool, then semifinals and finals for 1-2 and 3-4; 8 or more wrestlers — bracket with double repêchages.

What does the bracket format involve for 8 or more wrestlers?

For 8 or more wrestlers the competition uses a bracket with double repêchages, meaning elimination occurs after two lost matches, and there are two bronze medals.
