WHO CAN COMPETE:
Pride Muay Thai League is intended for all participants - for children from 4 years old to amateurs, from beginners to advanced, from any state.??You do not need a special membership to participate in Pride Muay Thai League tournaments. This is not an AMATEUR bout. Knockouts are not allowed! Our events test your skills and allow you to showcase what you've learned in the gym. If you're ready to improve your technique, this event is perfect for you. Our community of athletes from all over the USA comes together to compete and support each other. Want to show off your best moves? Challenge yourself and strive to be the best version of yourself.
Each participant may have not one but two or three sparring sessions. Depending on the number of suitable opponents.
MEDALS: Beautiful gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all podium finishers.
TOURNAMENT IS PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!
Please note that registration ends on September 27th at 8:30 AM or when the first 200 participants sign up!
Don't wait until the last minute or there won't be a place for you to participate. We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event!
Early Bird Registration before June 23 $60;
Normal registration before July 7 $75;
Late Registration before September 27 $89;
Athletes can choose either:
- Muay Thai division (for kids, teens, adults)
- No Head Contact (recommended for kids under 12yo without fight experience)
ROUNDS LENGTHS:
- Youth 4-5 year olds: 2, 1 minute rounds. 30 second rest.
- Youth 6-11 year olds: 3, 1 minute rounds. 30 second rest.
- Youth 12-15 year olds: 3, 1.5 minute rounds 45 second rest.
- Teens 16-17 y.o.: 3, 2 min rounds (1.5 minutes optional). 45-60 second rest.
- Adults: 3, 2 minute rounds. 60 second rest.
If one athlete is clearly superior to another, officials will make the rounds shorter. For example, instead of a 2-minute round, it becomes a 1.5-minute round, etc. The organizer will try to find another match for a more aggressive athlete. The Referee will make every effort to try to catch athletes (especially boys) while they are being hit to prevent injury.?
COACHES:
2 free coaches pass per team.
SPECTATORS/PARENTS:
Spectators tickets: $20 (13+), $10 (4-12yo), free for 3yo and under.
Spectator tickets will be available at the door.
A reminder for parents. Your child's participation does not give you a free pass to the competition, parents need to buy an entrance ticket at the cost of a spectator.
Registration and Weigh-Ins:
Registration and Weigh-Ins will be held on tournament day from 8:00 to 9:00 am.
Weight Cutting is Strongly Discouraged!
No competitors can register past 9:00am for kids, teens, and 1:30 for adults!
Immediately following weighing in we will begin match making and rules meeting.
DO NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING!

You will be able to follow the matches online through the smoothcomp platform, you will need to go to the Schedule section to see what the next match is.
WARM UP MATS:
We try our best to always provide a warm up mat area for our competitors during tournaments. In cases which events reach close to or full capacity, we could be restricted from having the floor space to create a warm up area for our competitors
