AGES 4-6 : BRACKETS MAY INCLUDE COMBINED GENDERS
AGES 7-16: BRACKETS WILL BE SEPERATED BY GENDER
IN THE EVENT THAT A COMBINED BRACKET IS NECESSARY FOR AGES 7-15 A PARENT/ GUARDIAN WILL BE NOTIFIED AND PERMISION WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE THE CHILD IS ENETERED

All athletes that register for the Ohana Open and compete will be considered to participate in the Ohana Kids Fight night , Our superfight event held twice a year.

How are brackets separated by age and gender?
Ages 4-6 may include combined gender brackets. Ages 7-16 will be separated by gender.
What happens if a combined bracket is needed for ages 7-15?
If a combined bracket is necessary for ages 7-15, a parent or guardian will be notified and permission will be required before the child is entered.
What rules will matches follow?
All matches will follow IBJJF rules for kids divisions, and the IBJJF point system applies.
What should parents and competitors know before competing?
During registration, note which Ohana you attend for proper bracketing. Competitors should arrive at least 1 hour before their division start time and listen for announcements because divisions will be called.
