ENGLISH

Ocean BJJ Pro Championship is a No-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament with an exclusive rule set, organized by UIJJ / FIJLKAM. It’s open to any grappling discipline: Judo, BJJ, Sambo, Olympic Wrestling, MMA, or if you have any grappling skills, you are welcome to compete in Ocean.

FINALS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The finalists of the tournament are the winners of the 6 national trials, along with several wildcards selected based on specific criteria set by Ocean and communicated via the promotion's social media channels. Additionally, 4 special guests per weight class have been invited by the promotion for their international sporting achievements.  

PRIZES

The winners of the finals will receive:- €10,000 for the Male Lightweight Champion- €10,000 for the Male Openweight Champion. There are also 3 cash bonuses available for:- Best Submission- Most Submission- Best Throw.

WEIGH-IN PROCEDURES

Weigh-ins will only take place for the men’s and women’s Lightweight divisions. Heavyweight competitors are not required to weigh in.

BRACKET SELECTION SYSTEM

The bracket pairings will be determined by the "The Big Wave" system: each athlete will choose their "lucky number," and a machine will randomly draw numbered spheres. Each pair of spheres will determine the matchups between athletes.
