Let's roll, Newtown! Be prepared as NEWBREED returns to Connecticut! NJJF is coming back to NYA Sports & Fitness on October 10th for the NEWBREED Connecticut Fall Championship! Come be part of another exciting chapter in NJJF history and earn your place on the podium this fall!

Whether you're a seasoned Jiu-Jitsu practitioner or just beginning your journey, our tournament welcomes competitors of all ages and skill levels. With both gi and no-gi divisions, this is your opportunity to step onto the mat and put your skills to the test.

Stand proudly on the podium with custom medals awarded to the top three athletes in every division, recognizing your hard work and dedication. First-place winners in all advanced divisions will receive the prestigious NJJF Championship Belt—a true symbol of excellence.

Ready for the ultimate challenge? Enter our no-gi absolute division, where the region's top competitors battle regardless of weight class. Technique, determination, and heart will decide who walks away victorious.

At NEWBREED, success isn't just individual—it's a team effort. Team points are calculated to determine the top three youth teams, top three adult teams, and the overall team champion. All seven placing teams receive an award banner to proudly display in their academy, while first-place teams also earn a custom NJJF Championship Trophy.

This event is also a qualifier for The Ultimate Grappler. The winner of the no-gi absolute division will earn a coveted spot at The Ultimate Grappler Finale in Coral Springs, Florida.
