JMMAC Australian Titles - 2025.
COMPETITION
By registering for this competition it is assumed you have read, understand and will comply with the rule set listed for your division.
Please speak to your club Instructors prior to registering for Junior MMA Competition. By registering for the Competition portion of the event the organizers will assume you have permission from your coach and they feel you are ready for this style of competition and you are aware of the rule set required for your division.
Timings may change at short notice so keep an eye on this page and social media for updates.
Divisions - Divisions are set by Age and Weight. Due to JMMAC being a relatively new competition there is no ability as yet to split brackets due to ability levels or experience.
Competition Weigh-Ins and Kit Inspection Timing Window - 8am-9am Saturday 30th August. This will be the main weigh-in time for the weekend, whether you are competing on Saturday or Sunday.
Sunday 8am-9am - Weigh-in. If you did not attend Saturday morning weigh-in, you must be in location before 9am to weigh in.
JMMAC Does Not Support Cutting Weight For It's Events! Choose your Weight division wisely.
There will be a 500gram weight allowance given. If you are over the required weight for your division you will be given until the end of the Weigh-In Timing Window to make weight. There is no limit to the number of attempts. If you do not make weight by the end of the Weigh-In Timing Window, you will be disqualified from the competition.
Competition Area - The competition area for 7/8/9 & 10/11 years age groups is yet to be determined it may be a matted competition area or conducted in a MMA Style Cage Competition area. The 12/13, 14/15 & 16/17 years age groups will be conducted in a MMA Style Cage Competition area.
Round Timings - 1 x 3 min round. This event is a Double Elimination style event, all competitors will get at least 2 matches.
Competition Timing - 10am Saturday 30 August, Competition start. If there are 4 or more in your division, you will be competing on Saturday.
9am Sunday 9th June - Competition Starts.
Officials - The Officials (referees/judges/fight medics) for the event will be qualified through MMA Australasia.
RISK AND INSURANCE
The competitor and/or their guardian (if under 18yrs) acknowledges and agrees that the competitor shall be responsible to obtain all or any insurance for loss and/or medical, hospital, life, income protection, personal, property, or any other risk or damage that the competitor may cause or suffer, (whether directly or indirectly) and the competitor covenants that they acknowledge that any failure by the competitor to fully insure themself against any accident, damage, injury, loss, whatsoever, howsoever arising shall be solely at the risk of the competitor.
