Please register for the events you are interested in

Any competitors that places 1st, 2nd or 3rd are able to purchase an official Black Dragon Kai Medal to commemorate their achievement on the day. This is not compulsory and completely optional. These custom medals sell at cost price for $15.

Bo-Zumo - Bo/Staff Wrestling (Junior / Young / Kids & Adults)
Koshiki - Padded Sparring (Kids & Adults) - helmet, chest protector & gloves supplied

1:30pm - All ages start time

REFUND 
Any competitor that decides to withdraw from the competition prior to the Registration closing, may receive 50% of their fee refunded. Competitors seeking the 50% fee re-compensation must do so before the registration closes or they will be unable to. Here is a link that explains how to cancel and get a refund.

DIVISION CHANGES
Division changes may be made online through smoothcomp. This must be completed on or before the last day of registration. Here is a link that explains how to change divisions.

Divisions

  • Tournament Entry Fee$20
    This covers all the events (except Muay Thai) - competitors that qualify for Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals may purchase them for an additional $15 fee after the division has been completed.
  • Kata$0
    Black Dragon Kai Kata Only (Junior Dragons, Young Dragons, Kids & Adult Martial Arts)
  • Sock Wrestling$0
    Both competitors wear a sock on their foot, to win they must remove their opponent's sock before their is removed
  • Sumo Wrestling$0
    The object is to force your opponent out of the ring or make them touch the ground with anything other than the soles of their feet.
  • Chanbara - Padded Sword Fighting$0
    Competitors battle it out with padded swords, the best of 3 matches to see who can score first
  • Ni Khuc Con - Padded Nunchaku Fighting$0
    Competitors battle it out with padded nunchaku
  • Bo-Zumo - Bo/Staff Wrestling$0
    Competitors hold a Bo/Staff at opposite ends working on either unbalancing their opponent to lift a foot or let go with a hand.
  • Koshiki - Padded Sparring$0
    Helmet and Chest Protector worn and supplied. Clean undefended techniques to target areas score points. The competitor with the highest score after the round ends wins the match
