Early-Bird Registration:  1 division: $70 -- 2 divisions: $100
Normal Registration:  1 division: $95 -- 2 divisions: $125

GI AND NOGI DIVISIONS ARE AVAILABLE:

  • Kids and Teens divisions which are broken up by AGE, SKILL LEVEL and WEIGHT.
  • Female Gi and NoGi divisions are available for adults ages 16 years and older.
  • Men Adult (16-29 years); Executive (30-39 yrs); and Masters (40+ yrs) divisions are available for white, blue, purple, brown and black belts.

SUB-ONLY WORLDS QUALIFIER:If you win 1st place in your bracket, you qualify to compete free of charge at Sub-Only Worlds on December 12, 2026. The free entry is ONLY available to be used at SO Worlds and cannot be redeemed for any other Good Fight tournament.  

COMPETITOR LIST:You can view the list of competitors by visiting the 'Athletes' tab above. Additionally, you MUST pre-register online, as The Good Fight does NOT offer on-site, or day-of registration.

CHANGES TO YOUR REGISTRATION:Competitors and their parents are responsible to make any necessary changes to their registration by the 'Last Chance to Edit' deadline, which is always 11:59 pm - the Thursday before the tournament. This ensures your registration details, including your weight-class and selected divisions, are listed correctly.

After the 'Last Chance to Edit' deadline ends, you will not be able to make any additional changes to your registration. However, The Good Fight bracketing staff may need to move you to another weight-class or division in order to make a bracket for you. If you are the only 1 showing up in your division, this change may be necessary.

UNCONTESTED DIVISIONS:All uncontested Divisions will follow these options starting with option 1 then moving down the list. All competitors have the ability, in Smoothcomp, to go in and update their own registration to put themselves in a division of their choosing.

Kids 15 and Under:

  1. We will move them up in weight, by one weight class
  2. We will move them up in age, but keep them in the same weight
  3. We will move them up in age and up in weight, by one weight class
  4. IF none of the above: we will contact you directly or on site and find a solution together.

Adults:

  1. We will move you up in weight, by one weight class
  2. IF none of the above: we will contact you directly or on site and find a solution together.

Executive and Masters:

  1. We will move you up in weight, by one weight class
  2. We will move you down in age and keep you in the same weight class
  3. IF none of the above: we will contact you directly or on site and find a solution together.

INJURY CREDIT GUARANTEE: If injured BEFORE the tournament, you have until 11:59 pm, the THURSDAY night before the tournament, to grab your "100% coupon refund". This is a credit that is issued through your Smoothcomp registration. It is up to YOU, to take care of this on Smoothcomp. If you fail to redeem your "100% coupon refund" by the deadline listed, you will have forfeited your credit. 

Please note: Once you register and pay online, there are NO credit card refunds. If you need to cancel your registration for whatever reason, you will need to grab your "100% coupon refund", which is in the form of a tournament credit only.  

Also note: There is risk of injury, when competing. IF you do get injured at a Good Fight tournament, there are NO refunds.

2 MATCH PER DIVISION GUARANTEE:Terms: You must stay for the entirety of your bracket. If you do not get 2 matches in your bracket, you must notify the GF staff and ask for a 2nd match. If you fail to ask at the tournament, you forfeit your 2nd match guarantee. Please note: This guarantee does NOT apply to Sub-Only Worlds.

FREE RASHGUARD GUARANTEE:Terms: You must pre-register online to be guaranteed a free Good Fight rashguard.

TRANSGENDER POLICY:The Good Fight affirms that biologically gender separated competition division and bracketing creates a fair and level playing field for all athletes involved in our submission-only tournament. The Good Fight offers clear and separate divisions for biological males and biological females as observed and identified at birth. Transgender athletes (male or female) are disallowed from entering their chosen gender. Transgender athletes are welcome to sign up and participate in their biologically identified gender category. In the situation that a transgender athlete knowingly registers for the wrong division and is discovered, Good Fight reserves the right to ban that competitor from the present tournament and future tournament registration, as well as the deletion of the Good Fight results in the provided profile and fight record.

How are uncontested divisions handled?
For Kids 15 and Under, organizers may move the competitor up one weight class, up in age at the same weight, or up in both age and weight by one class, then contact them if needed. Adults may be moved up one weight class, and Executive and Masters may be moved up one weight class or down in age at the same weight before being contacted if needed.
What is the refund or cancellation policy?
There are no credit card refunds once registration is paid online. If you need to cancel, you must claim a 100% coupon refund through Smoothcomp by 11:59 pm on the Thursday night before the tournament; it is tournament credit only.
What happens if I am injured?
If injured before the tournament, you have until 11:59 pm on the Thursday night before the tournament to claim the 100% coupon refund through Smoothcomp. If you are injured at a Good Fight tournament, there are no refunds.
What does winning 1st place in a bracket qualify me for?
A 1st place bracket winner qualifies to compete free of charge at Sub-Only Worlds on December 12, 2026. The free entry can only be used at Sub-Only Worlds and cannot be redeemed for any other Good Fight tournament.
