What is Eidsvoll Open? Eidsvoll Open is a premier Submission Wrestling Tournament following special SW rules. Whether you're a fresh face on the mats or a seasoned warrior, there's a division for you!
Divisions (juvenile, adult and master 1):
- Novice: For absolute beginners
- Beginner: For experienced beginners
- Intermediate: Blue belt level
- Advanced: Purple belt level
- Expert: Brown and black belt level
Prize Money Divisions:
- Male Adult Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Division | Absolute
- Female Adult Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Division | Absolute

Compete at Your Level
Athletes must enter divisions matching their experience. Moving up a level is allowed (e.g., Beginner to Intermediate), but moving down is strictly prohibited. No sandbagging! Obvious cases will result in immediate disqualification (DQ). All entries must be approved by your coach and align with the event waiver and ruleset.
Event Schedule:
- 08:00 – Doors open. Weigh-ins upon arrival and registration at the door.
- 09:00 – Rules meeting (Mat 1)
- 09:30 – Tournament begins
- 13:00 – Open weight categories (Advanced & Expert)
- 16:30 – Tournament concludes
Please note: The schedule is subject to change.
Weigh-Ins:
- Athletes must register for their division at least one hour before their start time.
- Weigh-ins take place during registration.
- Failure to make weight will result in disqualification (DQ).
Brackets:
- Brackets will be published the day before the tournament.
- Ensure you can make weight for your category.
- If there are any issues, please contact us at least 48 hours before competition day.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will only be granted if the athlete is injured or ill, with documentation from a certified healthcare professional.
Categories and Changes:
- Weight categories may be combined if there are too few athletes in a division.
Entrance Fee:
- 150,- NOK per person (payment at the door).
- Limited capacity—first come, first served.
Coaches:
- Coaches enter for free, limited to two per team.
- If additional coaches are required, please contact us for evaluation at: kontakt@rambukken.no.
Practical Information:
- The event will take place at Rambukk Kampsportsenter, RÃ¥holt.
- Parking spots are available outside the venue.
- Public Transport: The venue is 200 meters from Eidsvoll Verk Station.
- A kiosk will be available at the venue (accepting both card and Vipps).
- RÃ¥holt Shopping Center and grocery stores are nearby.
- Showers are available on-site.
