Each athlete can compete in their weight class and the class above. You can participate in all the categories you are qualified for in terms of gender, age and weight.
Sub-junior (13 - 15 years in 2027), girls: -50, -60, -70, +70 kg

Entry fee:
NOK 250 pr. arm pr. category. Half price for the second category. Double entry fee after January 17th, 2027.
If you do not show up for the weigh-in, we will refund the entry fee to the same payment method you used.

The host, Nærbø IL and Norges Bryteforbund, follow the World Anti-Doping Code. Everybody who takes part must follow the WADA Code.
License for Norwegian athletes:
All Norwegian athletes must be a member of the Norges Bryteforbund.
The athletes must have a license from the Norwegian Wrestling Federation before the start of the event. Contact your local club for more information.
All foreign athletes (WAF members) must be members of their national armwrestling federation and bring a statement confirming the membership.

Weigh-in is Friday 29th of January 2027 from 19:00 to 21:00 at Bryne Kro & Hotell, Morenefaret 3, 4340 Bryne. Another weigh-in is Saturday 30th of January 2027 from 08:30 to 09:00 at Sparebanken Norge Arena, Torlandsvegen 10, 4365 Nærbø.
What is the entry fee?
The entry fee is NOK 250 pr. arm pr. category. The second category is half price, and the entry fee doubles after January 17th, 2027.
Who can participate?
Every member of WAF can take part. Norwegian athletes must be members of Norges Bryteforbund and have a license from the Norwegian Wrestling Federation before the event starts; foreign WAF members must be members of their national armwrestling federation and bring a statement confirming membership.
What weight classes and categories are offered?
Left and right hand weight classes are offered for sub-junior, Junior18, Junior23, senior, para, master, and grandmaster categories. Each athlete can compete in their weight class and the class above, and can participate in all categories they are qualified for by gender, age, and weight.
What prizes are awarded?
Medals are awarded for the three best in each weight class.
What happens if I do not show up for weigh-in?
If you do not show up for the weigh-in, the entry fee will be refunded to the same payment method you used.
What clothing is required?
Sportswear is required. Jeans and shorts are not allowed.
What rules and anti-doping code apply?
The event uses World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) rules. The host, Nærbø IL and Norges Bryteforbund, follow the World Anti-Doping Code, and everyone who takes part must follow the WADA Code.
Will the competition be live streamed?
Yes. The competition will be streamed live on the Norges Bryteforbund YouTube channel.
