If a division has low registration, similar divisions may be merged for safety and match quality.

β’ Pee Wee I & II (4β7): 2 minutes

This event follows IBJJF-style rules, with age-appropriate submissions.
Event-Specific Rule Differences
β’ Double Guard Pull Rule:
In a double guard pull, the first athlete to stand up and establish top position will receive 2 points.
β’ No Advantages:
Matches are decided by points, penalties, or referee decision only.
β’ Last Score Wins (Tiebreaker):
If a match ends tied on points with no penalties, the athlete who scored last wins.

If all competitors finish with one win and one loss, placements will be decided by:
1. Most wins by submission
2. Fastest submission
3. Highest total points (all matches)
4. Most wins by points
5. Highest total points in winning matches
6. Lowest total points scored against
7. Most wins by referee decision

β’ Weigh-ins are without the Gi, unless otherwise stated on Smoothcomp
Athletes over their registered weight may be moved to a nearby division if possible.
