COPA DE HK JUNIOR - Hong Kong International Kids and Teens Grappling Tournament

Venue: Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong

This is a GI and NOGI open tournament for Kids and Teens.

Early Bird special offer:  HK$480.-

REGULAR REGISTRATION PERIOD (JULY 25 - SEPTEMBER 27, 2026)

Regular Registration (ends on SEPT 27, 2026)): HK$680.-

LATE REGISTRATION PERIOD (SEPTEMBER 28 - OCTOBER 4, 2026)

Late Registration (end of Oct 4, 2026): HK$880.-

** For Registration after October 10, 2026, please contact us directly through email, (copadehongkong@gmail.com). An additional HK$250 handling fee is required

***Deadline for adjusting category: October 8, 2026 (Please contact us directly through email (copadehongkong@gmail.com) for adjustment after the registration deadline)

In case of insufficient competitors, adjustment may be made base on the following rules:

1. Age Adjustment: may be moved up to the NEXT older age division

2. Wight Adjustment: may be moved up to the NEXT weight class

3. Belt Adjustment: may be moved up ONE belt level (eg. White -> Grey)

Adjustment may involve one or more of the above adjustment.

If there are still no other competitors in your category after adjustment, you have three options:

1. Stay in the Category

   - Automatically receive a medal.

2. Change to Another Category

   - Select a different category to compete in.

3. Request a Refund

   - Get a refund for your registration.

Please inform the organizers of your decision via email (copadehongkong@gmail.com) by October 8, 2026. If no response is received, Option 1 (staying in the category) will be selected automatically for you.

• White, Grey, Yellow (Boys and Girls)
• White, Blue (Juvenile)

• Please refer to the list in the registration.

Age group: 

• Might Mite 1 (4 yrs), Might Mite 2 (5 yrs), Might Mite 3 (6 yrs) 

• Pee Wee 1 (7 yrs), Pee Wee 2 (8 yrs), Pee Wee 3 (9 yrs)

• Junior 1 (10 yrs), Junior 2 (11 yrs), Junior 3 (12 yrs)

• Teen 1 (13 yrs), Teen 2 (14 yrs), Teen 3 (15 yrs)
• Juvenile (16-17 yrs)

Scoring System:

In BJJ competitions, a competitor can win a match by submission, points, advantage, or referee's decision.

Here's a breakdown of the scoring system:

Throws and/or takedowns: 2 points

Knee on belly: 2 points

Sweep: 2 points

Passing the guard: 3 points

Top mount position: 4 points

Control from the back (Back mount and/or Back Grab): 4 points

Advantage: is determined by aggressiveness, submission attempts, takedown attempts, and superior positioning.
