  • Regular Registration $109.00 (CAD) until Saturday September 12th,2026 11:59pm.

  • Spectator Fee: $15.00 (CAD). Registrations for athletes under 16 years old include one complimentary spectator ticket:

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Registration closes Saturday, September 26th, 2026 11:59pm.
  • The deadline for division corrections is Sunday, September 27th, 2026 11:59pm
  • The tournament bracket and official schedule will be published Thursday, October 1st 2026.
  • Division change, weight change, or error correction can be made by accessing your Smoothcomp account. NO REFUNDS after Registration closes (Sept 26th at 11:59pm). No changes allowed after Registration Check Day closes (Sep 27th at  11:59pm). 

WEIGHT/ UNIFORM ALLOWANCE:

  • Gi Match: We allow youth athletes to be within 1 lb of their weight class with full kimono on : For example, in the 107 lbs weight class we accept 108 lbs even though 108.1 lbs will result in disqualification.
  • There will be no weight allowance for youth No-Gi and any Juveniles/ adult/ Master divisions (Gi and No-Gi) with their full competition uniform on during weight in.

WEIGH INS: Take place on the day of the event when your bracket shows up on the TV screen. If you are registered for both Gi & No-Gi you will weigh in twice. Competitors weighing above their registered weight or failing to show up for scheduled weigh-ins are subject to disqualification immediately and will not be relocated to another division and NO REFUND.

Adult Gi - weigh-in with your full Gracie Barra uniform and training shirt/rash-guard, including belt. 

Adult No-Gi - weigh-in with your Gracie Barra training shirt/ RANKED rash-guard, Gracie Barra shorts/ compression pants or Gi pants.  (no pockets, zippers or hard plastic)        

Youth Gi - weigh-in in with your full Gracie Barra uniform and training shirt/rash-guard, including belt

Youth No-Gi - weigh-in with your Gracie Barra training shirt/ RANKED rash-guard, Gracie Barra shorts/ compression pants or Gi pants. (no pockets, zippers or hard plastic)

Please Note : If you are missing any of the above Gracie Barra uniform requirement, you will result in Disqualification at weight in or before your match. If you compete while you are overweight or missing required uniform without organizer approval, your result will  be invalid for your division. 

COACH CRENDITIALS:

Coaches don’t need to pay entry fee and will receive a COACHING VEST for easy identification inside the venue and this will give access to coach in the competition area for permitted divisions.

·       Credentials are counted by academy location, not affiliation teams.           

           Up to 2 athletes – 1 credentials

           Up to 10 athletes – 2 credentials

           Up to 20 athletes – 4 credentials

           Up to 30 athletes – 6 credentials

SPECTATOR TICKETS 

To make the COMPNET experience easier for our spectators, families and fans, we will begin offering a PRE-PAID option for spectators on Eventbrite.com. Buy your ticket online for $15 to skip the line at the door! 

Family Tickets (Promotional Tickets) will only be sold in advance until Friday,October 2nd NOT AT THE DOOR.

In case of 'No Show' in the group of 2 without notice: the competitor who is 'No Show' will follow no refund policy, but the competitor who shows up will have a choice to proceed with medal and find exhibition match or request to delete the bracket and receive a credit.  

MERGERS: Once the registration and change deadline have passed, our bracketing team will look to create the event brackets. Competitors that remain alone in a division after mergers are completed as indicated by an ‘X’ next to the division name can contact us at pacificnorthwest@compnet.global for options before brackets are published. CompNet PNW staffs are not allowed to make any division changes after the brackets are published nor on the day of the event.

BEST OVERALL  SCHOOLS and AWARDS: Team standings, points, and medal counts are updated live and available to view on the 'Results' tab of the event page. Top 3 schools in points will be rewarded a trophy in the following division: KIDS, ADULTS, & OVERALL. 

COMPETITION AND BRACKETS FORMAT:

Youth, Juvenile, Adults' White and Blue divisions â€“  Minimum 2 matches guarantee ( not including bye) 

Youth Division of 5+ competitors - Minimum 2 matches guarantee ( not including bye) and double Bronze bracket  

Adults’ Purple, Brown, Black, absolute, and Pro divisions â€“ Single elimination for all divisions. All participants from Blue belts and higher can register for the absolute. 

All Masters divisions ( including all belt level)- Single elimination for all divisions.

Youth Division under 7 years old ( Tiny Champion & Little Champion 1) - Submission is not allowed, all competitors under this division will determine the results by points or referee decision if the matches result in same point. 

Match Time Formats 

Youth 3-6 years old - 2 minutes match

Youth 7-10 years old - 3 minutes match

Youth 11-15 years old - 4 minutes match

Adults' White Belt Divisions: 5 minutes match

Adults' Blue Belt Divisions: 5 minutes match

Adults' Purple Belt Divisions: 7 minutes match

Adults' Brown Belt Divisions: 8 minutes match

Adults' Black Belt Divisions: 10 minutes match

Group of 2 competitors: Head to Head - Best of Three

Group of 3 competitors: True Round Robin

Group of 4-5 competitors: Double Elimination - Bronze match

Group of 6 and above competitors: Double Elimination - Double Bronze Match

Group of 2 competitors: Head to Head - Best of Three

COMPETITORS/PARENTS - Please keep in mind that match results are decided by submissions, points, advantages or a referee's decision. The referee must be respected as the authority of the match. All of CompNet's referees are certified under the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu International Federation- IBJJF and are trained to be fair based on the IBJJF/CompNet rules. If you have questions about the result, you may speak with the organizer off mat and we will bring the attention to the referee directors to review and explained the results.
