Pro Nogi Divisions $3000 Cash Prize

  • Male: 169 lbs and Under | 170 lbs and Over
  • Female: 134 lbs and Under | 135 lbs and Over
  • Prize: Winner takes all $ cash prize per division.  $3000 is divided evenly across 4 divisions based on division participation ($3000 total)
  • The total $3,000 is divided among the 4 divisions proportionally based on bracket size. The 1st-place winner takes the entire cash prize for their division!

How it works: If there are 100 total competitors across all 4 divisions, and your division has 50 of those competitors (50% of the total pool), the winner of your division takes home $1,500 (50% of the $3,000 prize pool).

Adult Men (18+)

  • Standard blocked weight and experience level divisions.

Women & Masters

  • Utilizes the Madison Bracket System.
  • Grapplers are paired into 4, 8, or 16-person brackets based on their actual weight at weigh-in and their experience level to ensure the fairest matchups.

Youth & Teen (Under 18)

  • Standard blocked weight, age, and experience level divisions.
  • Age is considered as day of the event.
  • Gender Separation: All divisions for ages 9 and Under will be mixed sex. Divisions for ages 10 and Up will be separated by sex.
  • Due to the high variability in youth registrations, bracket mergers are very common and will follow the merger guidelines outlined below as close as possible.
  • Parents are strongly advised to register their children in a higher weight class if they are close to the limit. We are committed to matching divisions as fairly and safely as possible based on the actual pool of registered athletes.

Division Mergers

Once the registration and change deadlines have passed, competitors who are alone in their division will be merged as per our merger guidelines. Competitors with no available merges (as indicated by an ‘x’ next to their division name on Smoothcomp) must contact us via info@combatcorner.com to explore available options. If a competitor remains without a match in all of their registered divisions, they will be issued a credit to a future event.

Please note that Combat Corner Grappling Championship does not contact competitors directly regarding mergers; it is each competitor’s responsibility to check their brackets and reach out if there are any issues or concerns. By registering for the Dairyland Open, you acknowledge that mergers may not always be possible and that a tournament credit will be issued in such cases.
