Madison Grouping Brackets or Pools

8-Person Bracket tournament Or 5 Person Round Robin Pools.  Competitors will be group by those closest to their weight within each Age and Belt grouping.  

Competitors need to be 100% honest with their weight at the time of registering.  We will weight check people if you appear to be vastly larger than your registered weight. Add your expected weight to the notes during registration. This is not your cut weight, but your standard walk around competition weight. 

PREMIER FINALS MATCHES FOR PURPLE BELT & UP.  We will run a spotlight final for those that make the finals in purple belt matches and up.  This will be a great way to end the tournament with some great showcase matches!

Tournament goal is to get great matches at a fair price.  Running a Jiu Jitsu tournament for the competitors!

We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event!

Spectators - $5 at the event for all attendees

FORMAT: The Madison Bracket & Madison Round Robin format offers every competitor multiple matches per division regardless of wins and losses. We also group by weight, isntead of cutting to a specific weight class. Competitors can get as many as5 matches per division! COMPETITOR LIST: The competitor list will be live updated and viewable in the 'Athletes' tab.

BRACKETS AND SCHEDULE: The event’s brackets and schedule will be posted 48 hours prior to the event. They can be found on the event page ‘Schedule’ tab. Event schedules are dynamic and division start times may fluctuate. It is important to monitor the schedule and brackets leading up to and on event day. Brackets may run as much as 1 hour ahead of schedule. CHANGING DIVISIONS AND CANCELLING REGISTRATION: Competitors can edit or cancel their registration up until the event’s change deadline. For more information on how to do this, see the following link: https://support.smoothcomp.com/article/89-how-to-change-weightclass-or-cancel

CAPACITY: Each event has a set capacity limit and registration will close early if capacity is reached. We highly recommend that competitors register as early as possible and do not make any travel arrangements until their registration is finalized.  

REFUND POLICY: A full refund to your original payment method is available until the Normal Registration deadline. After this date, only a full coupon credit is offered up until the change deadline, regardless of circumstance. After the change deadline, credits are issued only if a competitor has no scheduled matches. Unforeseen circumstances such as withdrawals, no-shows, empty divisions, or schedule changes may occur and do not warrant exceptions to this policy. Travel to the event is at your own discretion, and the organizer is not responsible for any related expenses. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept this policy.
