We are excited to introduce a new kickboxing tournament to the West TN area- Black Cat Kickboxing & MMA— a tournament held at the 20 acre vineyard for kids, teens, and adults of all levels. From 6-year-olds to adults, this tournament is built for growth, discipline, and development.

Youth Weigh ins from 8:00-9:00 am- ALL YOUTH COMPETITORS

9:30am rules meeting.

Doors open 9:00

Youth Fights start: 10:00am

Adult Weigh ins from 11:00-12:00 pm- ALL ADULT COMPETITORS

1:00pm rules meeting

Adults Fights start:  1:30pm 

WHO CAN COMPETE:

Black Cat Kickboxing Tournament is intended for children from 6 years old to amateurs, from beginners to advanced, from any state.

You do not need a special membership to participate in Black Cat Kickboxing tournament. This is not an AMATEUR bout. Knockouts are NOT ALLOWED! Our events test your skills and allow you to showcase what you've learned in the gym. 

Each participant may have multiple sparring sessions. Depending on the number of suitable opponents.

MEDALS: Gold medals will be awarded to all winners. 

TOURNAMENT IS PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!

Normal Registration starts now til September 14th, 12:00pm

Late Registration runs from September 14th to September 22nd at 12:00 PM

Don't wait until the last minute or there won't be a place for you to participate.

We do not take registrations after Sept. 22nd or registrations at the event

No refunds due to weather or injuries. 

Withdrawing from the Black Cat Kickboxing Tournament is voluntary, we are not responsible for circumstances on your behalf.

Refunds will not be issued for injuries or other circumstances. 

We ask that all athletes contact us if they are not attending. Athletes in smaller divisions may need time to be moved if they are left without an opponent.

ROUNDS LENGTHS

  • Youth 6-17 year olds: Best 2 of 3, 1.5 minute rounds. 45 second rest.
  • Adults: Best 2 of 3, 2 minute rounds. 60 second rest.

COACHES, CORNERS:

2 free coaches pass per gym/team. 

If a gym/team consists of one athlete, one free coaching pass is issued.

If you are competing without a gym affiliation, you must have a corner who will accompany you and assist you between rounds. The corner must purchase an admission ticket as a spectator.

SPECTATORS/PARENTS:

General admission: $15 donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital for all spectators- QR code will be provided or cash at the door. 

A reminder for parents. Your child's participation does not give you a free pass to the competition, parents need to donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital at the gate to receive a wrist band.  

 Weigh-Ins:

Weigh-Ins will be held on tournament day from 8:00 to 9:00 am. 

Weight Cutting is Strongly Discouraged!

Immediately following weighing in we will begin match making and rules meeting.
