The ASG Lansdowne Open is an all-ages, all-belts Gi and Adult No-Gi double-elimination grappling tournament in Ottawa, Ontario.

This event is sanctioned under the Sport Jiu-Jitsu Canada Federation (SJJCANF).

All competitors and coaches must have a valid SJJCANF membership.

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION

Doors Open: 7:30 AM

SPECTATORS

Adults: $10 spectator fee OR 2 non-perishable food items.

Children 12 & Under: FREE

100% of spectator fees and donated non-perishable food items will go to the Ottawa Food Bank.

COACHES

Coach access is complimentary for BJJ Black Belts and Head Instructors only.

A valid SJJCANF membership is required.

REGISTRATION

Please make sure your Smoothcomp profile is set up correctly before registering.

Entry restrictions may apply based on:

  • Birth year
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Belt/rank
  • Weight division

It is the athlete’s responsibility to ensure they are registered in the correct division.

If payment is not completed before the registration cutoff, you will not be permitted to compete.

Payments will not be accepted at the event.

WEIGH-INS

All weigh-ins will take place on the day of the event.

Competitors will weigh in  the Gi.

Kids, there is a 2 lb weight allowance.

Competitors must be checked in, weighed in, warmed up, and ready to compete at least 1 hour before their scheduled division.

Youth Divisions – Ages 5–17

Registration & Weigh-Ins: 8:00 AM–9:00 AM

Adult Divisions

Registration & Weigh-Ins Begin: 9:00 AM

Athletes who fail to make weight on tournament day will be disqualified without a refund.

MODIFICATION / CORRECTION & REFUND DEADLINE

The deadline to make registration corrections, change divisions, or request a full refund is:

Wednesday, March 24, 2027 at 6:00 PM

After the deadline, registration corrections, division changes, and refund requests will no longer be accepted. The tournament schedule and divisions will be finalized.

Absolutely no changes or refunds will be accepted after Wednesday, March 24, 2027 at 6:00 PM. No exceptions.

It is the athlete’s responsibility to ensure that all registration information is correct before the deadline.
