WEIGH-INS
Weigh-in with ATTIRE ON. For Gi divisions, GI ON (belt included). For NoGI, rashguard and shorts (or legging for women).
If you are competiting in GI and NOGI, you will only need to make weigh for GI. HOWEVER, you still need to show up for weigh-ins when competing in NOGI as we need to check your attire.
1 lb allowance
Weigh-ins will take place right before each competitor’s first match or right after your division is called.
IMPORTANT! Each competitor only gets ONE CHANCE to make weight for their division, so please double check your registration before you hit the submit button to be sure you signed up for the correct division. Also, you will have an opportunity to check your registration information on your Smoothcomp profile or competitor list.
You have until Registration Checkday (Athlete correction) deadline Tuesday October 12th to make any changes to your registration.
If you don’t make weight, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED! NO EXCEPTIONS!
COMPETITORS 4 to 15 years old: NO DISQUALIFICATION. Your division will be adjusted after you weigh-ins if necessary.

The last day for Cancellations / Full Refunds is listed as Monday October 12 2026. The changes/cancellations/refunds section also states Tuesday OCTOBER 12 2026, so only the October 12 2026 deadline is clear.
How do weigh-ins work?
Weigh-ins are done with attire on. For Gi divisions, competitors weigh in with GI ON, including belt; for NoGI, rashguard and shorts, or leggings for women. Weigh-ins take place right before each competitor’s first match or right after the division is called, with a 1 lb allowance.
What happens if a competitor does not make weight?
Each competitor gets one chance to make weight. If a competitor does not make weight, they will be disqualified with no exceptions, except competitors 4 to 15 years old, who are not disqualified and whose division will be adjusted after weigh-ins if necessary.
