Description
Who is it for?
All Kyokushin groups and any other groups who are interested in full-contact kumite. This event also features Clicker Sparring - rules available for download - which is a fast moving, non-contact form of sparring that requires speed, mobility, and control. Most of the successful IFK knockdown champions had been Clicker champions before and while also competing in knockdown.
Entry cost and conditions
The cost of entry of $60 for the tournament includes both Clicker and Contact, and to get the best out of this event, you might want to enter in both. There's no extra cost for the extra event.
Registration
With Smoothcomp, you can register your entry as an expression of interest first, without paying until the final payment date. (Normal price 15 Oct, late registration 22nd Oct) to see whether there will be other entries in your division - and to let others know who might be considering it.
Divisions
There are quite a few divisions in this event to allow for a range of grade and weight and age, and in the case of Clicker, also height. Please make sure that you pick the right division for you.
We reserve the right to modify, combine, or split divisions to suit the number of entries for those divisions. If you are going to be moved to a division where you might be disadvantaged, you will be contacted beforehand for your consent.
Code of Conduct
All competitors, coaches, and spectators including parents are expected to maintain civil behaviour towards everyone else in the venue, including other competitors, parents, and referees. Disrespect towards referees, competitors, and other spectators might result in your competitor being disqualified because of you.
No political protests or other displays will be tolerated, and offenders will be asked to leave.
