  I have been training here for 7+ years and have loved and appreciated every moment. The head instructor Mike Curran has been fantastic in explaining every technique in detail without fail and is always attentive to questions or concerns and answers with a true passion and understanding for martial arts. The staff are kind and welcoming, it really feels like a home away from home and an extended family. If you are in the area and want to learn and train Bang Muay Thai, or Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, or are passionate about martial arts in general, this is the place to be! Osu! 🥋

  Great jiujitsu spot! I stopped in on a visit through. Very welcoming people, instructor did a fantastic job at breaking down the movements. Had a great time!

  I had the luck to go to Hagerstown for work and have a drop in class during the adult no gi class. 1. Everyone was super welcoming and the rolling felt pretty safe. 2. Though I didn't get the chance to meet the head instructor or owner (it was unclear to me if it was the same guy), the black belt they had there instructing was as legit as it gets. I walked away with a technique I'm excited to try on my unsuspecting teammates at home! 3. Clean facilities, plenty of room, really welcoming and helpful admin staff. 10/10 would go again!

  I absolute LOVE this place. 4 of my kids take classes here, and they have grown and developed so much self confidence from this Academy. The instructors are AMAZING! Brandon, Joe, Jamie, and Erik all have a wonderful teaching etiquette for kids. Professor Mike really takes the time to teach the lessons/moves. He will walk around and give individual attention to make sure each student is doing it correctly and safe! Just knowing that my kids have the correct training and knowledge to handle themselves make me very happy! Also, the admin staff is Wonderful!! There is an activity room for my other kids to play while classes are going on. They offer after school care, parents night out, fitness classes, Academy get togethers, etc. Hagerstown BJJ feels like a big family. Everyone is there to help!! I am very thankful to have joined this awesome Academy!!!

  I brought my son out for a free week of classes after he brought the flyer home from school and he's been taking classes here ever since! He loves it! Trish, Mike and all the instructors are so patient and kind. The classes are affordable and they work with you regarding payments. We're so happy with this place and recommend it to everyone!
