My son has been going to Castle Martial Arts in Sheffield since January 2023. He absolutely loves it. It is fantastic all the instructors are brilliant, friendly, helpful & know so much to help with technique and confidence building. My sons confidence has rocketed in all aspects of life including school and other activities. His concentration & self discipline has improved as a result. It is a great place to make friends and build strength, conditioning and overall fitness. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone. It really is great fun. He has recently (Nov 2025) Passed his 1st Degree Black Belt and loves it so much he is continuing and going for his 2nd Degree in about 2 years time. All the instructors are fantastic, supportive and liberal what they do!

Our child has had a fantastic experience at this castle martial arts school. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about each student’s growth. They create a fun, supportive environment while teaching discipline, respect, confidence, and valuable self-defense skills. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement in our child’s focus, confidence, and physical fitness. The classes are well-organized, engaging, and suitable for all skill levels. We highly recommend this martial arts school to any parent looking for a positive and enriching activity for their child.

We’ve been really impressed with this academy since enrolling our 5-year-old. The instructors have a brilliant way with the students — firm but encouraging and great at holding their attention. Our son has come on so much in terms of discipline, listening, and confidence. The classes are well-structured, with a nice balance of fun and focus. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a great activity for little ones!

I can't speak highly enough of Castle Martial Arts. It has been fantastic for my son, and over the past six months I've seen a real growth in his confidence. This has carried over into school as well, where he's become much more willing to get involved, try new things, and have a go. The instructors create a supportive and encouraging environment. My daughter has been attending Castle Martial Arts for the past 8 months, and the positive impact it has had on her has been incredible. Her confidence has grown so much during that time, and it has been wonderful to watch her develop both on and off the mats. It hasn’t always been an easy journey. Like many children, there have been times when her emotions have got the better of her, but the teachers have always handled these situations with patience, understanding, and professionalism. They are fantastic at supporting students when they need encouragement and reassurance, while also setting clear boundaries and expectations within the class. This balance has really helped my daughter grow in confidence, resilience, and self-discipline. One of the things I love most is seeing not only my daughter’s progress, but also the development of all the students. There is a real sense of community, and it’s lovely to see the friendships and bonds that are formed as they progress through the belts together and celebrate each other’s achievements. A special mention must go to Mrs Houghton, Mrs Morewood, and Miss Beighton. They have all been incredibly supportive, welcoming, and encouraging from day one. Their dedication to the students shines through in everything they do, and they are a huge credit to Castle Martial Arts. I would highly recommend Castle Martial Arts to any parent looking for a supportive, structured, and positive environment for their child to learn and grow.

I can’t recommend Castle Martial Arts highly enough. My 5-year-old son absolutely loves it, he looks forward to every session. The instructors are fantastic with the little ones: patient, encouraging and they really know how to keep the kids engaged while teaching proper technique and discipline. Since starting, his confidence, focus and coordination have all come on brilliantly. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and it’s clear they genuinely care about the children.
