I can’t say enough good things about Method and what Dallas has built. I’m a black belt and have trained all over. Dallas is a world class instructor and commits to every student. He will ask you your goals and help you accomplish them. He is never too busy for any student regardless if it’s before class or after. Method is a clean facility in every sense of the word. They do back ground checks and run a highly professional program. If you are competitor you will have opportunities to train with best guys in the world.

Method Jiu-Jitsu is an exceptional gym that sets the standard for a clean, organized, and welcoming training environment. The main instructor, Dallas, is a phenomenal teacher with a deep understanding of jiu-jitsu. His crucifix game, in particular, is truly something to admire. Dallas has a gift for breaking down the mechanics of this position, from the entries to the control and submissions, making it accessible and effective for students at any level. Beyond the technical expertise, the gym stands out for its wonderful environment. The facility is immaculate, and the atmosphere is both professional and friendly. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Method Jiu-Jitsu provides a space where everyone feels supported and encouraged to grow. With Dallas leading the way, the gym is a shining example of what a top-tier academy should be.

I'm from out of town and dropped in for a visit. The professor was great and helped us work on the finer details of the positions we were working. There were quite a few white belts and just as many upper belts. Everyone was very respectful and this gym fostered good learning. The mats are one of the best things about this gym. I have always been scared of stand up and being judo thrown into what seems like two inches of newspaper mat. Not at this gym! The spring board mats absorb plenty of energy making throws feel like landing in a marshmallow on top of a trampoline! Definitely coming back if I'm visiting in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of training at Method Jiu-jitsu and I can confidently say it’s one of the best Jiu Jitsu schools I’ve encountered. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and respectful, making it a great environment for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. Professor Dallas Niles' extensive knowledge of Jiu Jitsu is evident in his teaching style. He has a remarkable ability to break down complex techniques into easily digestible parts, ensuring that every student understands the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced concepts. The training sessions are well-structured, balancing drilling and sparring, which helps students apply what they learn in a practical setting. The camaraderie among students is palpable, fostering a sense of community that makes every class enjoyable. Overall, Method Jiu-jitsu is a fantastic place to train, and with such a knowledgeable and caring instructor at the helm, I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to enhance their Jiu Jitsu skills. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your techniques, you’ll find a supportive environment that encourages growth and mastery.

My daughter and I both joined Method about 2 months ago and we both love it! I have been training for about a year and half and decided to join Method so my daughter could start as well since Method has a program for 4-6 year olds. I have had an amazing experience learning and training under Dallas so far, but I really want to emphasize what it has done for my 4 year old daughter. She has really struggled with keeping attention as most kids that age do. But this week, her teacher at school pulled me aside to let me know that she has done much better listening and with impulse control since she started. Her exact words were “Whatever they are doing in Jiu Jitsu, don’t let her stop.” The coaches/structure at Method truly make the class revolve around building the character of the kids. At Method, the kids aren’t coming in for an hour every once in a while and leaving. They are changing who they are at home, school, and all other aspects of the kids lives.

Growing before our eyes! We have seen our 7-year-old come out of his preverbal “shell”. It’s been a year since we started at Method, during this time his growth has been significant. From getting frustrated at not being able to do warm up drills, to being asked to demonstrate them to the new members. At school, teachers have noticed and commented on his growth as a student. Specifically, his confidence, perseverance, and willingness to try new things. We like to say, “we can do hard things” and the Coaches at Method help make the hard things fun, exciting, and educational. The Coaches make the difference, encouraging, demonstrating, and instructing in a patient manner that makes each class fun and exciting. Adding in an emphasis on Character is also important at Method. The students earn stripes for completing the “Word of the Month” and other character-building worksheets. Encouraging growth within themselves, their family, and community. We are very proud of the progress our son has made over the last year at Method Jiu Jitsu and look forward to consistent growth both on and off the mat.

I can't say enough good things about Method Jiu Jitsu! As someone who has dropped in here and there to various martial arts schools over the years, I can confidently say that this place stands out from the rest. Before joining here, I tried a couple of other schools, and while they had their merits, none of them offered the same level of community, instruction, and personal growth that I've experienced at Method. One school focused heavily on traditional techniques, but I found the training to be somewhat rigid and not very adaptable to real-life situations or good competition. Another school I attended had intense sparring sessions, which were fun but lacked the structured learning I was looking for. What I love most about Method is how they embrace all styles and encourage students to build their own unique game. As someone with a wrestling background, I was initially worried about how my skills would translate in a new martial arts context. However, the instructors here have been incredibly supportive and have worked with me to incorporate my wrestling techniques into my training. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping each student reach their goals. The environment is welcoming, and the camaraderie among students makes every class enjoyable. Whether you're a beginner or experienced martial artist, Method has something to offer everyone. I’m so grateful to have found this place, and I can’t wait to see how much more I can grow as a martial artist. Highly recommended!

I joined this school in February, It has hands down been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was looking for a new physical and creative outlet since returning home from playing soccer in Europe, I finally convinced myself to try jiu jitsu. After some research I ended up landing on Method, So I signed up. From the first initial class that I got to try (for free) I was hooked. Dallas is an amazing person and professor. From day one he has made me feel welcome and accepted into this new environment and has always taken the time to answer all of my questions. He takes great pride in helping people improve and make sure they’re getting what they want out of the classes, he really is the embodiment of what a teacher should be. The people here at Method are just as amazing, everyone is here to help each other improve and continue to grow as not only competitors but as individuals. I am ecstatic to be apart of the family here at Method Jiu Jitsu!

My criteria for a great martial arts facility: Great coaching, Clean facilities and equipment in good condition and welcoming environment/safe place to train. This place checks all the boxes. Professor Dallas Niles is a world known BJJ Black Belt trained under the most decorated 🇺🇸 lineage of Rafael Lovato Jr. The facility is well designed and functionally sound that creates a welcoming training environment. The kids training program not only teaches physical fitness and self defense skills but also leadership and character development that will raise your children to be the leaders of the next generation. If you are in Tulsa, this is the place to train both kids and adults.

Method is super clean, and the everyone is so welcoming. Seriously, you feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. One of the best things about Method is how they teach you to understand *why* you're doing each move, not just how to do it. It makes a huge difference in how you learn and apply the techniques. And if you're thinking about getting your kids into something, this is perfect. They really focus on helping kids develop life skills like discipline and respect through their training. What’s also great is that there’s no ego. Everyone’s there to learn and grow, not to show off or hurt each other. It’s all about educational Jiu Jitsu and applying the techniques correctly. If you’re serious about learning and want a great environment for it, you should definitely check out Method. It's a game-changer.

From the moment I walked in and met Coach Dallas, I knew we had found the perfect place. The institution he is building is truly exceptional. Both of my children participate in group classes and take private lessons with Coach Kenny, who is equally wonderful. What I love most about Method Jiu Jitsu is its focus on character development alongside physical training. My children have become more disciplined in many areas of their lives thanks to the weekly folders they complete to earn their stripes. On our first day, I also signed up for private lessons with Coach Dallas. After speaking with him for just a few minutes, I knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with one of the best in the world. Choosing Method Jiu Jitsu was the right decision, and I continue to learn more about both Jiu Jitsu and myself. Additionally, the facility is the cleanest I have ever seen. We didn't even consider looking elsewhere. We plan to be a part of the Method Jiu Jitsu family for many years to come.

Method Jiu Jitsu is the perfect place for experienced practitioners, beginners and families. I started training with Dallas at Lovato's in 2020 and I was so excited to see that he opened up his own school! Whenever I am in Tulsa I make it a point to come by and I get great rounds in a great environment. Dallas furthers the experience by bringing in great talent for Seminars. World champions such as Victor Hugo, Xande Ribiero, and Rafael Lovato Jr have been on his mats dropping great knowledge. Further, he has brought in a world class wrestling athlete, Nick Heflin, to broaden his student's exposure to grappling. If that isn't enough, Professor Dallas is objectively (yes I mean it) one of the funniest people on the planet. When I was just starting out his classes were engaging and entertaining, so that even after a long day of work I was excited to come in and learn. Tldr? Method could be the best thing you ever did for yourself, you should give it a try!

Dallas Niles has created something truly special here in Tulsa at Method Jiu Jitsu! I have been taking my two boys there over the past month and can’t honestly say enough positive things about our experience. They are focused on the character development of the child just as much as the physical skill. My boys were given their own folder with a word of the month, home chores, and other character development handouts to work on at home in order to earn stripes in their belt. Talk about motivation! If you are looking for something for your children that will build then physically while also building their character take them to Method.

From the day I joined Method Jiu-Jitsu, it has been an incredible experience. Professor Dallas is not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about teaching jiu-jitsu. He does an incredible job of breaking down techniques in a way that is easy to understand, regardless of your skill level. The community at Method is also welcoming and supportive. From the moment you step onto the mat, you feel like part of a family. Training partners are always willing to help each other improve, creating an encouraging and motivating atmosphere. The facility itself is top-notch. The mats are clean and well-maintained, and there is plenty of space to train. The gym also offers a variety of class times, making it easy to fit training into a busy schedule. Professor Dallas’ attention to detail extends beyond his teachings on the mat. He emphasizes the importance of discipline, respect, and continuous learning, which translates into benefits both on and off the mat. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced competitor, Method has something to offer. I have seen significant improvements in my confidence and overall fitness since joining. We tried team sports with our 5 year old, but he was always frustrated by the lack of structure that happens when you try to convince a bunch of 5 year olds to work together. But he’s very active so I decided to look for a group sport instead. I showed him some jiu jitsu videos and he said he wanted to try it. Within 30 minutes of his first class, I could tell he was hooked. That night he told me he wanted to eat fruit instead of ice cream. At his preschool, his teachers began to remark that he was suddenly taking on a role in his class of making sure his friends were acting right. At his preschool graduation in May, they gave everyone a title. His was “the leader.” His class at Method is as much about self discipline and being a good human as it is about jiu jitsu moves. He’s really taken to it. Physically it’s been good for him as well, I can see so much more confidence in the way he moves and carries himself. He even has started asking to work out with me in the evenings, going for runs and doing planks and squats. I couldn’t be happier with our experience

Method Jiu Jitsu for what I have seen and experienced is the true standard in jiu jitsu in the Tulsa and surrounding areas. I am a brown belt in jiu jitsu and was coaching regular classes and competition team at my previous school and I definitely made what some would consider a very challenging or uncomfortable decision to take a chance and start all over as a student with a new instructor and training partners to try and maximize my potential in jiujitsu. I can assure it was tough decision to make but has been proving itself as the right decision everytime I train up at Method. Dallas is a phenomenal instructor who really pours in and cares about his students development and not coming in to just collect monthly tuition and go about his life. Im a jiujitsu nerd of the highest caliber I would say and Dallas trump's my level lol. It's a very friendly clean and welcoming environment! I highly recommend if your new to this and want to join that Method Jiu jitsu is the best place to start or if your needing a uptick in possibly just a higher level of education or knowledge to pull from on jiujitsu than Method is also the right spot for you! I hope this helps people trying to find a new home for the training needs.

I’ve trained several places over the years and have a pretty good feel for what makes a gym function and thrive. Quality of instruction, community, mat culture, safety … the Academy is beautiful, clean, well thought out and a reflection of the quality person and coach that Dallas is. I’ve trained at several gyms and Method Jiu Jitsu is the gym to check out if you want to learn Jiu Jitsu on an accelerated learning curve. Dallas doesn’t show you a move and tell you to go, he breaks down the mechanics and teaches you how to think through each position rather than attempt to memorize a series of moves. For me, this helps you learn at a much quicker pace because there’s a million ways to arrive at any given position. In addition, Dallas embodies the community he is trying to build. Extremely friendly, intelligent, but ready to grind when instruction begins. Highly recommend checking out!

Went to my first Jiu Jitsu class ever tonight and I was extremely nervous and very intimidated. From the moment I met professor Dallas he has been nothing but encouraging and transparent he seems to really care about the experience that his students have. Very excited to be apart of a place with an environment like method! -Garner

Dallas Niles, head instructor, has put his 20 years of knowledge and competing together to open a new academy in Tulsa. He received his black belt from Rafael Lovato Jr, one of the winningest jiu jitsu competitors of all time, and has developed a game that has taken him around the world sharing his knowledge. There are numerous academies popping up due to the growing popularity, and it can be hard to tell where you want to invest your time and money. Dallas comes from one of the top-tiered programs in the United States and is assured to run the same quality in Tulsa. His passion for the art and the genuine person he is will make this a academy one of the premier places in the area.

Dallas Niles was one of my instructors during the first 2 years of Jiu Jitsu training, and he is absolutely amazing. A true expert in the martial art, and a world class competitor. Dallas has trained under Professor Rafael Lovato, Jr., a well-known BJJ and MMA champion, and has carried forward that wisdom to his students. His Method Jiu Jitsu academy is an impressive facility with state of the art equipment. If you want to both learn BJJ from one of the best and have a great experience doing it, I strongly recommend Dallas Niles and Method Jiu Jitsu in Tulsa!

All black belts are incredibly knowledgable, but that doesn't mean they can communicate what they know in a digestible manner (especially to white belts). Professor Dallas Niles is an incredible teacher who can communicate the complexities of BJJ to anyone. He's affable, hilarious, and enjoys teaching, which makes him a joy to learn from. If you're interested in BJJ and are afraid of a hyper machismo environment, you'll be pleasantly surprised by Dallas's classes. It's always friendly for everyone. I highly recommend Method!

If you want a family environment while learning a discipline, Professor Dallas is your guy. I am 47 and it has been a wonderful journey. Jiu Jitsu helps with stress, your mental health, as well as, your physical health. I know Professor Dallas is very family focused. You can trust him. When you do Jiu Jitsu you become part of a family. Professor Dallas will not let you give up and will motivate you to be the best you can be. Jiu Jitsu is the ultimate journey. I would highly recommend Method BJJ; start your journey today. My family has been doing Jiu Jitsu for the last 4 years at Lovatos in Oklahoma City. I started my journey in June of last summer. I have really enjoyed Professor Dallas these last 8 months. He has been influential in my style and journey in BJJ. I will greatly miss his tutelage. My two children Helen and Kai started Lovato’s in the summer of 2020. They loved it. It gave them confidence and strength. Our youngest started when he was four years old and with little coordination, he could barely do a bear crawl. It was amazing to watch as he developed coordination and strength. My daughter the other day was told girls can't wrestle. her response was, do you want to find out? I will choke you out in five seconds. Now she did not choke out any boys, but she did have the confidence to stand up to preconceived notions of what boys and girls can do. Kai is a beast when it comes to Jiu Jitsu. He has found his sport and home. I have friends where their children do other sports and they always ask how Kai got so strong. I always answer, just Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu is the ultimate discipline and Professor Dallas is the ultimate guide for your journey. Sincerely, Team Kluge

I had the honor of training with Dallas Niles as my coach, and let me tell you, he is an absolute force to be reckoned with. This guy is the real deal, and he's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to his craft. At first glance, Dallas might look like he could take on the world with his tough exterior, but don't let that fool you. Underneath all of that is one of the nicest and most patient guys I've ever met. He truly cares about his students and is dedicated to helping them succeed. If you're looking for a coach who will push you to your limits and help you achieve your goals, then Dallas Niles is your man. He's an outstanding instructor and a great person to work with.

Professor Dallas was instrumental in my training and development. The group classes and open mart that that professor Dallas ran / held were some of the most informative I have ever taken part in. If you have the chance to workout and train at his gym or one of his seminars you will be very happy with both. Highly recommend Method Jiu Jitsu.

I’ve enjoyed various types of athletics in my life but have continued to search for a practice that challenges and feeds the physical, mental and emotional self. Enter Jiu Jitsu. Professor Dallas has encouraged me to grow in ways that have given me improved health, deepened friendships and a humbled confidence. When I finish his class I am reminded I can do great things. A practice like this is a gift in a world that continually tells us we can’t or we aren’t enough. Professor Dallas is a world class martial artist devoting his life to the way of Jiu Jitsu- Tulsa is incredibly fortunate to have him.
