I visited several Martial Art studios before finalizing this one. Soul Fighters has the best teachers, serious students and all facilities available who want to take martial arts seriously. I highly recommend this center

Soul Fighters is an amazing place. I train here with my children in both their adults and youth classes and the instructors are top notch. They focus a lot on technique, and the instructors pay a lot of attention to making sure the students work on proper form in addition to physical strength. Coach Bruno is very flexible and very welcoming. The trophies are testament to the quality of the gym. Highly highly recommended.

This is my home away from home gym! I come here occasionally to visit and train. The instruction is always top notch and everyone is always warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a fun but competitive environment that will push your jiu jitsu to new levels, this is the place!

Amazing gym!! A really good and safe place for your kids to have fun, but also learn a very valuable life skill. I have been here for almost 4 years now and have been to other Jiu Jitsu gyms before, but none compare to Soul Fighters. Amazing coaches that care and students that want to learn and have fun with you.

Amazing community here. Real Brazilian Jiujitsu. If you’re new, the people here will make you feel very welcomed. I choose this gym over any other jiujitsu schools in the DFW metroplex, I drive 45 minutes everyday to be here. It’s 100% worth it.

Soul Fighters is the best place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! I have been training under Bruno “Tank” Mendes a name recognized in the bjj community for nine years now. I believe when people visit us they benefit from high level techniques and a welcoming and supportive environment to learn jiu jitsu at any level.

I recently visited Soul Fighters, and I was thoroughly impressed! The facility is top-notch, clean, and well-equipped for both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. The coach is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The blend of high-quality training and a supportive environment makes Soul Fighters stand out. I’m excited to join and experience more of what they have to offer!

I dropped in for a lunch BJJ class while I was in town for work, and I’m so glad I did. For starters, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. There’s a good number of active competitors here too, which always makes the environment a bit more fun imo. The high level of technique amongst the regular members (both juvenile and adults) definitely challenged me to sharpen my own. I really wish I could stick around for more classes!! It’s also a major bonus that the facility itself is STELLAR—plenty of mat space, cleanliness throughout the entire space, a shower, cubbies for personal belongings, etc. Honestly one of my favorite facilities I’ve been to so far (and that’s including international BJJ gyms). I couldn’t recommended this gym enough. You have to give it a try if you’re nearby!!

If you or your children are looking for a place to attend martial arts, this is definitely the place to go! Not only are the people here super welcoming and teach you a lot of things, but everyone here is just so helpful which adds a puzzle piece to what is missing from other martial art studios. Even though it might sound easy from this review, it's definitely not as you keep on constantly growing and challenging yourself to give your best effort. With this place, the possibilities are endless as everything here is right. SUPER professional!

I have been a member here for a few years now and consider this place the best place to develop a well rounded Martial Arts Academy. The Head BJJ instructor, Bruno "Tank" Mendes, is a Highly Respected Professor who is known Worldwide for his teaching abilities and his ability to see the details of your game. I recommend this school to everyone.

Me and my daughter started out here last year. Both me and my daughter have loved coming to this gym ever since. The coaches are patient and work with you, especially if you have no experience. In this year both me and my daughter have learned a lot. I would recommend this place to everyone, if you want to learn jiu jitsu, muy thai, and taekwondo for kids this is the place to come to.

I've been training BJJ here since I moved from Brazil in summer of 2014. Their Jiu-Jitsu program is run by one of the most respected and victorious team out there: Soul Fighters. All the coaches are world champion's level. There is a place for just anybody here, from someone making a living out of fighting to a regular dude like me that just wants to improve and stay healthy. The owner is a very funny guy and a good coach too. Their price is very reasonable for the high level of training you're getting. If you're looking for a place to train martial arts, look no further.

Had the most positive training experience out of any MMA gym I've been to so far. They play good music, the training is intense, & everyone is really friendly. Instructor knows what he's doing too. Not to mention they have very reasonable prices.

We enrolled our daughter , age 6, into Siam Star’s Muay Thai training about 2 months ago. Our daughter had expressed interest in MMA after watching a couple UFC women’s bouts on TV. The experience has surpaaased our initial expectations, and we impressed with the level of attention each of the coaches pay towards the kids they’re training. Tomer is her Muay Thai coach and she loves working with him and looks forward to training every time. This place has rightfully earned their stars and I highly recommend this company.

I started training with Siam Star in the summer of 2013. At the time, I didn't know anything about jiu jitsu other than I tried it and liked it. A few months later Siam partnered with the Soul Fighters team and Bruno Tank Mendes became our head coach. I almost left because I knew nothing of the team or who they were. It was a fortune I didn't. I didn't know that they were a world class organization, that Tank was an extremely accomplished instructor with decades of experience. His professor, Alvaro Mansour is the head ref of the IBJJF. His brother is a professional fighter with the MMA and a top tier IBJJF competetor as well. But pedigree aside, I didn't know in 2013 that I had found a new family. The people who would train with me when I was struggling in my divorce. The family who carried me (literally) when I collapsed after finding out my brother had passed. This isn't just about the world class training. Some of my training partners have become my best friends. Tank personally has been there when my training lagged and helped me find my way to train better. People say "jiu jitsu saved my life". For me, it really did. But choosing to stay here by accident at the time gave me my life back and a new set of family I would never have found otherwise. Come train with us. Come join the family. You won't find a better one, guaranteed.

I had about 5 years of experience with Muay Thai when I moved to Texas for a job. During my first year my work schedule kept me from working out. During my yearly physical, my doctor noted that my blood pressure was a bit high and I was losing muscle mass (I was 44), so I joined Siam Star here in Allen. I thought I was going to die the first month from the workouts, though I eventually got back into shape. After a year my blood pressure has dropped and I'm in great shape. I would recommend the Jujitsu and Muay Thai classes to anyone. They are hard but you get in great shape and learn valuable skills.

This place is excellent, it feels like family. I have been going here for a few months now and I gotta admit, I was nervous at first and didnt know how I would feel but the people here make you feel right at home. The friendliest and most caring staff you could ask for. Tomer is truly a great leader and it has become easy to make friends here. I have been wanting to train Muay Thai for a while and I finally did it and couldnt be happier. If you are thinking about Muay Thai or BJJ training this place is where you should be... Don't miss out!!!

I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here. Professor Bruno "TANK" Mendes is absolutely one of the very best Professors in the world and we are so fortunate to have him in Allen. If you have kids, there is no better teacher around. The results speak for themselves. I would recommend this school to anyone that expects the best.

I have been a member of this gym for over a year now. I wanted a gym that had a legit BJJ coach that gave promotions based on displayed skills on the mat. Bruno Mendes is what one may call "old school". He expects his students to show up to class because he is making martial artists not members. I love the depth of knowledge he provides. When Bruno is not available due to his commitments to teach at seminars or help students in tournaments his stand-in Tony Trammell is outstanding. Tony is a great addition to the BJJ team and helps me grow tremendously. The Muay Thai is great too. You have three different style of coaches that will help your striking to reach the next level. There is not a person that smiles more than coach Arjan Carlos Moreno because he loves what he does. He walks the class and provides needed adjustments on the spot. Tomer Litvin taught me how you don't need another person to spar with to get better. His technique training really slows down what my focus should be on and helps skills sink into the memory bank. Angelo Guardia is third guy that provides the boxing breakdown that completes the package. His attention to detail on head movement and ring control is the type of knowledge that will make every student better. On a side note, I read posts about $300 cancellation and not an MMA class. Real quick, Tomer does not hide the $300 cancellation fee. Do not misunderstand, he does want to make you into a martial artist but at the same time he is running a business that feeds everyone that works at this gym. Also if you don't like the training, Tomer has specials that let you try class for certain periods of time without any commitment. For me it was 30 days. If I couldn't decide if I wanted to be a part of a gym in 30 days, really I am not good at making decisions. Hope that helps for people to understand.

What to say about Siam Star MMA? There's a ton! The MMA/Muay Thai and boxing programs are legit, but to the amazing coaches Angelo Guardia and Arjan Carlos Moreno, these are the best striking coaches in the state, heck I'd stand to say the country! I only get the best from both coaches everytime. Angelo Guardia handles the boxing and without him i wouldnt have been a champion during my career. He will teach you the best defense and hands ready to knock someone out in the business. Arjan Carlos Moreno will help you kick someone down like your chopping a tree and punish anyone with deadly precision who tries to come at you. Im blessed with the best two striking coaches possible. and the are under the same roof at Siam Star MMA.

My family and I have spent many, many nights training at Siam Star. Arjan Carlos Moreno brings years of technique and expertise to his Muay Thai classes. He is a patient instructor who treats everyone with respect and compassion. However, he will challenge you to be better. The owner, Tomer Litvin, also teaches Muay Thai. He brings a positive energy and fun to his classes. Bruno 'Tank' Mendez, the BJJ professor, is a ball of positive energy and skillful tactics that any grappler would desire to add to their Arsenal. You train with all levels there. Everyone is so supportive and patient. Everyone encourages and helps you to improve constantly. The gym environment is so positive other coaches from all over visit to guest teach or hold seminars. There is so much to be learned at this gym. If you have ever considered martial arts, on any level, this would be an amazing place to sharpen your skills.

Great place, top BJJ (Carlos Muchado) instructor Roman Kilgore. Experienced black/brown belts in every class, like a private lesson when you roll. Place is spotless and the owner is very cool guy, Tomer Litvin. Don't be shy, come get your roll on!

Instructors are cool. But I can’t stand being inside of the facility. I’d give them 5 stars if they’d get rid of the swarm of flies that terrorizes the parents while they wait. You will literally be shooing away flies every 5 seconds for an hour. Ugh!

As a complete beginner with 0 martial arts experience, I signed up for a 2 week trial for their Muay Thai classes. I attended two classes and enjoyed the drills and workouts and had a great time and was excited to learn and continue. However, I did participate in the 'light' sparring for the last 15 minutes of the second class I attended. I asked the instructor if he thought it was something I should do and he said for some people it's a good idea, for others it's not, not really encouraging me in either direction. I decided to try. Understandably, I cannot control my sparring partner, but he seemed to go too hard for me being a total novice, and ended up rocking me + giving me a concussion (for the record, I did not go in to get medically diagnosed, but I have no reason to lie as my goal is just to inform others of my experience, not to make money or sue or anything). As a result, I never returned. I would encourage total beginners interested in the muay thai classes to give it a shot, but avoid the sparring for some time. Even if it feels embarrassing since it appears everybody is doing it including the children. Personally I had no understanding of distance management, defense, etc. and probably would've benefited from the instructor not letting me proceed. Just cautioning others. I may go back, who knows. I'm still really interested in learning some form of martial arts, but not trying to be a professional fighter or get seriously injured.

Cancelled my membership a few days ago when my term ended. I was expecting not to get charged because I completed the year. I was surprised to find that I’ve been charged approx. $300. I should have cancelled early so as to avoid the inconvenience. A warning to future students... Be prepared to have a boat-load of money should you decide to cancel because it will REALLY cost you. Cancellation fee is worth two-months pay regardless if you cancel before it becomes an open-ended/month-to-month agreement.($149x2= $298.00; 189.00x2= $378.00)

Gotta admit that they have great training, but think twice unless you plan to sign up for a lifetime. Had 2 six month contracts with them that was paid on time with no issues while I was a member, even while out injured. I was a few days late on on the termination notice as I was moving out of country, and was quickly hit with month by month charge. Contacted the owner and no mercy or regard. They just attempted to hit the card for another month, but I had placed a stop on the card. This contract is purely one sided and do not expect any flexibility. Buyer beware and hold onto your wallet.
