I can’t imagine myself or my son training anywhere but Cyclone. A family atmosphere where everyone feels welcome!

Cyclone BJJ is amazing! The coaches are so professional and knowledgeable but more importantly they are great with our kids. We are so happy our family is apart of this community

Cyclone BJJ & Combatives is hands down one of the best martial arts academies in Louisiana! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy and strong sense of community. The facility is well-maintained, the classes are structured for all skill levels, and the instructors genuinely care about your progress. A huge shoutout to Instructor Billy Tregle—his mentorship is truly next-level. His leadership, technical expertise, and ability to inspire students make Cyclone BJJ stand out from the rest. Whether you’re new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or a seasoned practitioner, Billy and his team will push you to be your absolute best. The training environment is both welcoming and challenging, with a great mix of self-defense, competition training, and personal development. The adult classes are structured in a way that helps everyone grow at their own pace. If you’re looking for a place to train, gain confidence, and be part of an amazing community, Cyclone BJJ is the place to be! Highly recommend! 5/5 Stars – Would give more if I could!

Super awesome friendly environment and trainers. Billy tragel (sorry if I spelt your last name wrong) is amazing. He Makes sure you fully understand the movements and take time with each student to make sure they comprehend the material:

Cyclone is the best! They are a legit, disciplined academy! Coach DeSalvo is a wealth of knowledge. I drove from 2 hours away to train with them and it was worth every mile.

Great gym with lots of great people. Instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. Classes are available for all age groups and beginner friendly. Class time includes a warm-up period, multiple rolling sessions, and detailed drilling sessions. Usually there’s a one week free trial to see how it works for you. For getting into shape, it’s a hell of a workout. For self-protection, it’s the best martial art you’ll find. The best day to start doing BJJ would be 10 years ago. The next best time to start is today.
