I was in town for vacation with the family and we saw the sign for Red Wolf BJJ while we were in town. I was hesitant to stop in because I had a knee surgery scheduled the following Monday. I took the plunge and came in anyway. Zach has created an awesome atmosphere and I was able to get excellent training in with his students and they were all very careful with my injury. It’s one thing to have a school where people roll hard, it’s another to have a school where they roll hard and safe. I’ll definitely be back and recommend people check this place out.

I’ve trained with a lot of coaches over the years, and Zach is truly a tier-1 instructor. As a blue belt, I’ve seen firsthand how well he teaches the fundamentals—clear, patient, and detailed—while also being phenomenal with advanced, leg-heavy techniques that have completely leveled up my game. The private sessions I’ve taken with him have been some of the most valuable training I’ve ever had. Whether you’re brand new or already experienced, you won’t find a better coach or a more invested instructor. Five stars without hesitation.

I can’t recommend Zach enough as a Jiu Jitsu instructor. His teaching style is the perfect balance of technical, patient, and motivating. He breaks things down in a way that actually makes sense, and he makes sure everyone feels comfortable, from beginners to experienced students. You can tell he genuinely cares about progress and safety. Amazing instructor and even better person!

Zach is one of the most knowledgeable and hardworking people I know. He helped me not only with Jiu-Jitsu but has a great knowledge for Strength and Conditioning. He helped me become more confident in competition and with other difficult endeavors in life.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Red Wolf Jiu Jitsu Is Absolutely Top-Tier! Training at Red Wolf Jiu Jitsu has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that’s both welcoming and motivating. Head instructor and owner Zach LeCates has created something truly special here—a school where high-level technique meets genuine community. Zach is an outstanding teacher. His ability to break down complex movements into clear, understandable steps is second to none. He’s patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly invested in each student’s progress, regardless of experience level. Whether you’re stepping on the mats for the first time or you’re a seasoned practitioner looking to refine your game, Zach’s guidance elevates everyone. The culture at Red Wolf is phenomenal—supportive training partners, safe and respectful rolls, and a vibe that makes you look forward to every class. The facility is clean, organized, and clearly maintained with pride. Every session is structured, purposeful, and packed with knowledge. If you’re looking for a place to train jiu jitsu, build confidence, get in shape, or join a community that truly cares, Red Wolf Jiu Jitsu is the place. Zach LeCates has built a school that stands out in every way. Couldn’t recommend it more—5 stars all the way!
