  I’ve been training at Chippenham School Of JiuJitsu for over a year now and it’s been a great experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly, and everyone is supportive whether you're completely new or have been training for a while. Head coach Rich is an excellent teacher with a huge amount of experience in the sport. He explains techniques clearly and creates a great environment for learning and improving. I’d highly recommend CSJ to anyone looking to start or develop their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

  My 10 year old daughter has been attending the kids classes for just over a year now and she loves it! Coach Rich provides a very safe environment for the kids with the help of Coach Jake who is also a fully certified coach with a wealth of experience. The children learn the techniques not only by expert demonstrations and live sparring but most importantly through play and lots of it! A wide range of games are played which are transferable to BJJ practices. The classes are light hearted, relaxed, with a focus on positivity and respect towards others.

  I continue to train at CSJ since 2023, the impeccable skillset conveyed in the purest of art forms, namely Jiu Jitsu is evident at CSJ. Rich is an eloquent practitioner and mellow gentleman with an encyclopaedic knowledge of Jiu Jitsu. It is a true honour to share the mats with him and my team-mates. The facilities are great and parking is vast.

  A great place to learn self defence. A fantastic Coach to train with. Anything you can't do, he'll come over and help out. Just say his name and he appears like Joe Hendry (If your a wrestling fan you know what I mean). Great students who are very friendly and anyone can join no matter your age or shape of body.

  Chippenham school of Jiujitsu is a great place to learn. First off, Rich is an amazing coach. He’s made me feel welcome and part of the team. He provides great structure to his lessons, and manages to explain complex techniques in a way that clicks. Everyone is really helpful, full of passion and keen to help improve your game, offering advice where they can. The atmosphere is amazing, I have made some really good friends training there and it’s the best part of starting this, especially when being new to the area. I would recommend training here to anyone. It’s a great place to learn, challenge yourself and make great friendships. It pushes you out of your comfort zone and makes you feel really accomplished at the end of the session. If you’re thinking about trying jiu jitsu, I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

  After training here for over a year, I can confidently say that Chippenham School Of Jiujitsu is an amazing place for all levels. Coach Rich is fantastic at adapting his teaching, making beginners feel comfortable while also pushing advanced students to improve. The atmosphere is welcoming, the instruction is high-quality, and just a great group of guys and girls to train with. Whether you want to get fit, learn self-defense, or compete, I could not recommend a better place to start your Jiu-Jitsu journey or progress it further!

  Started back BJJ after a long layoff and been training about a month here. Rich is a great teacher and the club is awesome. The club is a good size and so are the classes. Plenty of people to roll with and everyone is really technical and friendly. If you’re in the area and fancy giving BJJ a go then this is the place to learn!
