As a woman with zero experience in self defense or weightlifting, the instructors and community at Endeavor have encouraged me and made me feel so welcome! They have a great variety of classes to try, all with amazing instructors. I can't recommend this gym enough!

I have been going to Endevour for almost 4 years now and it’s an amazing gym! Not only do they have amazing coach’s there everyday they bring in some of the best coaches trainers in the world! The fight side offers a little of bit of everything, and no matter your skill level will help you feel comfortable with what’s going on! The fitness side is a great place no matter your skill level the coach’s are there to help not tell you what to do! If you are in the areas and want to get fit make friends and experience a great community this is the place to try!

Endeavor is an amazing gym!!! I have trained BJJ here for over 6 months now and, having trained at a couple of other great gyms before, I can confidently say this is one of the best places in Columbus to train. The instructors are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! They are always happy to answer any of my questions and constantly offer details that make me better every time I get on the mat. And, what’s more, the culture at Endeavor is second to none! Honestly! Training partners here are considerate and technical, no matter how much bigger and stronger they are. But they also aren’t afraid to take it up a notch when we are prepping for competitions. In my time here, I have made many friends and truly enjoy hanging out with them off the mats as much as I do on the mats. But don’t take my word for it! Stop by and check it out for yourself!

Joining this BJJ gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like part of a family. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely care about each other’s growth—on and off the mats. This gym has become more than just a place to train; it’s a second home. The coaches are not only incredibly skilled but also passionate about helping everyone—from beginners to advanced—build confidence, discipline, and real-world strength. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, learn self-defense, or just find a strong community, this is the place. I’ve grown so much here, physically and mentally, and I can’t imagine my life without it. If you’re considering starting BJJ, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t regret it!

I found this gym on a whim after researching for gyms in the area. I wanted a gym that would push me and challenge me to reach my strongest potential. I also wanted a gym that had flexibility on classes and did not do the same thing every day. I love how this gym offers both the strength lifting aspect and also the defense training which allows me to try new movements I may not be familiar with. Everyone here is so welcoming and nice you never have to be intimidated when entering this amazing environment. Aaron and the other coaches are also very knowledgeable and skilled and want you to become your strongest and most fierce but want to also keep you safe while doing it. Join this gym!! You will love it just as much as I do.

I joined the Crossfit (Fitness) part of the gym in January of 2023. Since that time my body has gotten leaner and stronger, so much so that my son joined later that year and he has lost 37lbs and counting. That made my youngest daughter want to join the gym. It has become a family thing to attend class together 4-5 times per week and root for each other. Aaron, Dude, Emily, Katrina and Rachel have been the most instructive and informative coaches we have ever experienced. They teach you all the proper ways to achieve your goals in a way that is motivating, challenging and in a safe manner. The other gym members are so supportive and fun to be around - it is really a community. Endeavor offers so much, from Olympic weightlifting, self defense, competitive fighting.....and much more - you have to come to a couple of classes and see what how easy you can fit in.

This place is amazing! I found it because I was looking to get into BJJ for self defense, but I'm also wanting to get in better general shape. I cannot believe this place offers BJJ, Crossfit, and Krav in one place! I'm blown away and the coaches have been so fun to work with. I came with zero martial arts experience, and the coaches have really made it easy to jump in and feel like I belong there. It's only been two weeks and I'm addicted! Feeling so much stronger and more capable already. Where has this been all my life!

You’ll walk in the door and ask yourself, where is everybody?! Find us in the back! This place is a second home to “us” members. The owners treat everyone like family and want you to succeed at your fitness journey. Yes - YOURS. Not their idea of what you need! I started many years ago and had a few year set back. When I wanted to return, it felt like I had never left. Just come in for the intro class, you will immediately know what I am describing. Try the CrossFit, try the self-defense. I promise even if you don’t join, you’ll either learn something new or make a new friend!

Today was my first time here for the free lesson to check it out. Sam and Aaron were very welcoming and everyone else there were very friendly too. Went there for the 10 am class and stayed for the 10:30 one. Let’s just say I signed up with the gym the same day!

Amazing community, beginner and women friendly, positive and technique focused gym! I started as a beginner to Steel Mace flow and CrossFit. I love the technique and form and biomechanics focus the coaches provide. Great space, great equipment. Never experienced any body shaming or any shaming at all, just acceptance, positivity, and friendly help when you want it! This gym embodies a growth focused mindset which is just so refreshing.

I have been participating in the hybrid combative self-defense program for over three months now. I absolutely love it! This is a no nonsense, realistic fighting and defense program. All instructors are absolutely the best that I have seen. You can tell that they enjoy what they do and they’re very good at Teaching. The facility is awesome, with lots of space to stretch and practice. I would highly recommend Endevour to anyone who is looking for an authentic approach to self-defense and fighting.

Just did an amazing introductory personal training session with Aaron, the owner. He taught me fundamental but all-encompassing exercises that were totally transformative. I went to him with a whole bunch of physical problems, most of which were gone or radically improved as a result of one session. Also amazing, the session was fun and easy-going. As I continue to practice this work, I'm sure I'll have even better outcomes! A couple years later--I keep returning to Aaron's exercises, which are always newly relevant in different ways as time goes by. Thanks again!

The Hybrid program at Endeavor has been life changing! Thank you coach Brooke, Ashley, Cecily, and Aaron for helping me to feel more secure after an attack downtown. I spent years extremely fearful of going almost anywhere alone. You all have given me the skills ins elf-defense to finally feel more comfortable on my own. Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart. Your classes help a newbie learn the ropes and the classes grow as the students do. Amazing program!

After working out at Endeavor, whether it's crossfit, self-defense, or BJJ, I don't simply walk out. I'm flying, I soar. Why? Well, it's the people; it's the exceptional and personalised instruction; it's the affirmation of who you are and space held for you to cultivate who you want to be. It's those incremental gains over time. It's the supportive understanding and it is love, and I get take that with me wherever I go. Trust, this is where you need to be.

I have been a member of this gym since it opened. It has saved my sanity during COVID. They are a VERY supportive group - I am 40+ and there is no judging if I cannot keep up or have to modify moves. Everyone is welcoming. During COVID this community supported it’s members virtually with classes and emotionally. I feel completely safe going here to work out as everyone is careful about staying apart and cleaning equipment. If you are looking for a “family” type gym this is your place. There are a ton of different classes and you will never be judged. 100% recommend. They care about you as a person and will help you reach whatever goal you have.

Endeavor is where I started my Crossfit journey. The coaches there like AJ, Aaron and Dude are extremely knowledgeable and really make it a point to get to know your strengths and help you on your weaknesses. Although I don't go to this box anymore due to moving, I always talk about how attentive, supportive, and motivating the coaches were to my progress! I wouldn't be the Crossfitter I am today without the coaches and the sense of community there! Thanks Endeavor!!

Really great place. I started with their onboarding program in January of this year and signed up for a membership after that was complete. Staff is friendly and professional. There are multiple class times available throughout the day. Equipment is of good quality and is well maintained. Nice community. If you are looking for a challenging workout that will be different and engaging every day, this is a good place for you. Update: I've been going for a few years now. It's great. Community still great. Everything is awesome.

I have been attending Endeavor since June 2018, and I love it. I started with personal training, then the 6 week kick start, and since then I have been participating in primarily the Crossfit classes. I was skeptical about "Crossfit" and potential for injury; however, every single coach focuses on safety and modifications if/when needed. Endeavor is a great place with coaches who care and promote safety, and the members have turned into friends. My results in one year have included an 8 lb weight loss, increased muscle mass, and a deadlift PR. Additionally, I am running faster times and getting close to running times I haven't seen in 10 years. This place is fun and definitely good for all ages!! I highly recommend Endeavor Defense and Fitness.

I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2008, the days when the games were at the ranch and people were catching their bar off bounces between reps. I have moved multiple times and have been to several gyms throughout my experience with CrossFit. Out of all the gyms I’ve visited, I’d have to say Endeavor is my favorite. The coaching, programming, atmosphere and individuals that are part of this facility are unmatched. There are always scaling options for any workout and the coaches are active, focusing on effective training and injury prevention. Visiting Endeavor is always the highlight of my day and I highly recommend it!!

About 2 years ago I was not thrilled with where I was with my physical health. At the time a friend of mine was doing CrossFit but needed a new gym when she moved back to Columbus. Since I needed a change and some motivation, we went together to another local gym but found it wasn’t for us. A few months later we stumbled upon Endeavor and the rest is history. I have never felt stronger or better about myself! This place has given me endless knowledge that has helped me push myself during every class but with correct form. Not to mention the people here are welcoming and encouraging. My gym fam makes working out more fun. Thanks, Endeavor Defense and Fitness!

I have been a member or a punch card holder at several Crossfit gyms. I've dropped in at several others. This place is hands down my favorite. The facility is large. The class sizes are fairly small. You actually get one-on-one attention during class. The programming actually makes sense. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable. The members are unbelievably awesome! Moving back to Columbus and having so many crossfit gym options was incredibly overwhelming. I was recommended to try Endeavor from a friend from an old crossfit gym, and easily one of the best recommendations I have ever received! It really has been an honor to work with the coaches and soak up all their knowledge of lifting and how to best perform. I now feel like I move smarter and more efficiently, versus just winging it all the time. The people at the gym are so welcoming. It really is a giant family who has each others back. The coaching really has pushed me to be a better version of myself as an athlete and a person. So glad to be a part of this family!

I did a drop in class a little over 2 years ago and never left. The coaches are personable but also knowledgeable and the members are fantastic. I continued working out throughout my pregnancy and they scaled everything appropriately which allowed me to recover from a 2nd c-section much faster than the first. The programming is challenging of course but manageable. There are tons of programs like crossfit, olympic weightlifting, bjj, yoga, kid's gymnastics, and everything in between. I truly feel like I've found a second family here.

Endeavor just began their yoga program...and it is awesome! Not only can I challenge myself on the CrossFit side by attending classes where I get to sweat alongside awesome people who encourage and educate above and beyond physical health but all inclusive wellness...now I can heal, stretch, breathe and relax in my yoga practice too. The classes are wonderful and the new yoga room looks great. The instructors at Endeavor are impeccable, my fellow gym goers are so supportive and the environment is so inclusive. If you have not found a place that is conducive for you to be challenged (but always safe and smart...moving/lifting/breathing correctly is always first priority), supported, and encouraged,... stop by...you won’t regret it.

Started with a great intro class for 6weeks, stayed active in CrossFit for awhile until finding out about the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes held here. I’ve stayed involved with BJJ classes longer than any fitness regimen I’ve started. Very good instructors who do not demean anyone for lack of experience. We compete regularly at several tournaments throughout the year and have built up a pretty good reputation as a team for being successful. If you’re not into competition there are also several days and hours to train. Best Jiu Jitsu in the Hilliard area!

I had worked out in my basement, been a member of Urban Active, joined Orange Theory, etc. Endeavor and the highly trained staff have pushed me harder than everything else combined. First, I learned how to work safely. Next, I learned how to do so many difficult and challenging exercises I would have never done on my own. Now, I’m learning how to push myself and break through the mental obstacles as well as the physical. The other members are amazing and offer as much, if not more, encouragement as the coaches. I really can't say enough about this gym and how glad I am I decided to try it out and join. I have dropped into or been a member at most of the larger crossfit gyms in Columbus and can hold my own during most workouts. What makes Endeavor stand out are the people and the coaching. The coaches are top notch-- knowledgeable, friendly and have a real focus on attention to detail which is necessary when it can be so easy to get hurt if you perform a lift/skill with bad form. Being an experienced crossfitter they still took the time to go over basic skills with me and helped me improve technique and truly understand the bits and pieces that get linked together to improve overall lifts & movements. The coaches positivity & energy has drawn in members with similar attitudes and every single person I have met through Endeavor is incredibly nice, supportive and welcoming. I've been a member at crossfit gyms for over a year where the coaches never knew my name so going someplace where I get the total opposite experience has been refreshing and I would recommend this place to anyone at any skill level.

This place offers fitness classes (Crossfit); fight classes (Krav Maga self-defense, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, HitFit fight conditioning); Flexibility classes (Yoga, ROMWOD Crossfit classes). Lots of programs to help get you in shape and keep you healthy....and a love for Unicorns. Can't go wrong here.

I had heard about the defense class on the radio and sent out an email to my family seeing that if we were ever in a mass shooting situation I would want them all to know how to react. It ended up that me and my Fiancé, my mom and step dad, my little sister, her boyfriend, his mom, and sister were all interested; half of the group drove an hour plus into Columbus to attend. None of us really knew exactly what to expect, but their team made us feel comfortable in all of the hands-on scenarios. We all walked out of the active shooter response course more alert and ready in the event of an active shooter. Thanks for making this class available to the public and reasonably priced. I have already reccomended it to others.

Rob is my favorite McKeeman that I know. He runs a sweet Biz (that's short for Biziness) in Columbo (that's short for Columbus -- Ohio i think?) for throwing down some weights, kicking AND punching stuff. They love Unicorns and the color purple. He's a little on the hairy side, so watch out. You might think he's homeless, but he's not. The rest of his staff are super professional like he is, but not homeless. They know their stuff... Bigtime! P.S. Not homeless.

This is a great gym. Excellent classes for both fitness and martial arts with very motivational instructors. I'd recomend it to anyone. Their self defense curriculum is practical and well thought-out. It's got something for everyone. Update: I've trained here for so long that I work here now. This gym is the best!

There is never a dull moment at this gym. Sweaty, bloody, challenging and awkward moments abound, but never a dull one. The coaches are great...whether you’re there for self defense, CrossFit or yoga, they work with you to help you get the best out of the class and yourself.

Only rating because I've received 10+ emails to provide a review. Great coaching, but I'd still be there if they wanted my business enough to get back with me after multiple inquiries to schedule private sessions. Also, will seek out an affiliate gym in the future where there are more women coaches.
