Is not much more I could say about this place other than it's surely amazing. The staff are extremely professional. And they dedicated a large part of their lives learning the skill. If you want to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from passionate people I highly recommend this place.

Best gym west of the Mississippi! Honestly though, great atmosphere with awesome people. I’ve trained at a few places and nothing compares to this place.

Joined being completely new in martial arts and nervous. I was immediately met with friendly faces and great people. Everyone treats each other with respect and honesty after just a short time feel like I’m becoming part of a family of people that are here to improve themselves. Great professors and staff.

I started training at GB Ventura at the beginning of last year. There's a great family vibe. The professors and coaches are detail oriented and patient, as well as beasts on the mat. The schedule is full of available times to train and there is something for everyone-- from the newest white belts to seasoned black belts, kids to adults, hobbyists to competitors. No egos here, just a gym full of people who love Jiu-Jitsu.

Great gym with great professors. Professor Mair is very thoughtful in his teaching methods and makes sure everyone is progressing each class. One of the best workouts you can get while challenging your mind at the same time. If you've never tried BJJ before, its a great place to start.

Highly Recommend! Everyone is so welcoming here. The instructors take their time teaching you techniques and explain what everything means. They keep a safe environment, but also make it a good time.

I've trained at other gracie gyms and there is no comparison to here. Training with world class athletes every day, you will become better than you ever imagined by showing up here consistently. It's not just for young men either, I am 45 years old and did not do this in my 20s 🤙🏽💪🏼💪🏼

Awesome environment for kids and adults! The Professor and coaches are great with the kids, classes are challenging but most importantly fun. I signed my daughter up and after a few months, I had to come too. Only problem is no class on Sundays!

This is my first time doing BJJ and so far it’s been amazing. The atmosphere walking into the academy is so welcoming and everyone is very kind. Professor is very hands on with making sure that you fallow along and understand the techniques. For some one like me that’s is new to Bjj make it easy to fallow along. This is my first month and so far I have enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend Gracie Barra Ventura to all my friend’s and family. Thank you making me feel welcomed.

Great academy and great environment. The instructors are world class! Kids and adult classes. Beginners are brought up gradually. Wide range of skill levels and sizes for training partners. The mental and physical health benefits speak for themselves, but training in an environment like this makes it even better. I recommend anyone that is looking to start or continue their jiujitsu journey give GB Ventura a try.
