It's not easy to find an environment where kids are expected & encouraged to be responsible for their actions, respect their teammates, and take pride in their character like they are here. We started with just 3 kids, and now the entire family goes, except the one too young to start. The support, encouragement, and instruction is phenomenal. This is not a bro gym. It's truly an environment where others want to help you be successful, for an individual competing sport it's a big team effort. The community we have gained since joining has been an unexpected bonus to the entire experience. Boca and Michelle pour their heart and soul into all the kids, and it shows in how they develop each student to truly understand how to use their skills.

No doubt the best place to learn Jiu Jitsu in Oviedo! Professor Vagner “Boca” is one of the best in the game. Boca has a unique way to share his knowledge and wisdom that goes beyond Jiu Jitsu. Enjoy your journey with him! It’s a life changing experience.

There is definitely something special about this school and coach, Boca is a VERY knowledgeable coach and will show you a technique from its simplest form all the way to a black level, also a very important aspect is the fact that the whole team is very respectful of the coach just because of the type of person he is and everybody gets transmitted with the same positive vibe.

Absolutely love this gym! Professor Boca is an incredible instructor with an immense wealth of knowledge in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His technical expertise is top-notch, and his ability to break down complex techniques into easy-to-understand steps is unparalleled. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, he ensures that everyone gets the personalized attention they need to improve. The atmosphere in the gym is welcoming and positive, making it a great place to train and grow. If you're looking to truly level up your Jiu-Jitsu, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome my kids and my husband both train here and the people who go are like family! The kids class is awesome my kids are doing really well the instructors are very patient with the kids and super helpful in making sure they understand it before moving on! The adults class is great my husband has tried a few gyms in the Oviedo area and this one is the best one!

Since my son started at this gym, he has gained confidence, skills, and great friends all thanks to the instructors and welcoming atmosphere. I joined the women’s class and have had so much fun learning with a super supportive group. The instructors are fantastic and the gym has a strong sense of community. Highly recommend!

This is a great family-friendly gym that my four kids and husband trains in. The atmosphere is very clean—no bad language or anything like that. This is real training for both adults and kids, not a daycare. My kids have learned so much in one year of training and it’s been such a positive place to spend our evenings!

We love this gym. I tried out a few other locations before settling here. This is a family gym that trains hard and focuses on learning skills and competitions. It does NOT feel like daycare. They teach adult and kids classes. Our children love it. Boca and his wife Michelle are awesome. Highly recommend!

This is a great school for any level. Boca is extremely knowledgeable and simplifies the game. I’m a no gi guy, but, he’s really opened my eyes to the gi with its endless possibilities and I appreciate being in the gi now. My son also trains here (9yr) and the kids program is great!! He’s does a great job and teaching them the fundamentals and even advanced techniques!!

I’ve had the privilege of training at BOCA Team USA for almost two years now, and I can confidently say that this school has been instrumental in elevating my jiu-jitsu game. Boca’s coaching style is second to none—his attention to detail, technical knowledge, and passion for the sport create an environment where students of all levels can truly grow. Beyond my own journey, my kids also train here, and I’ve been blown away by how well Boca has structured the kids' program. He teaches at such a high level while ensuring the kids not only retain but also execute what they learn. Watching them develop skill, confidence, and discipline on the mats has been incredible. Boca and Michelle have done an amazing job building a school in Oviedo where everyone, regardless of background or experience, feels welcome and safe. Whether you’re a complete beginner stepping onto the mats for the first time or a seasoned black belt looking to refine your technique, BOCA Team USA has something for everyone. I couldn’t recommend this academy enough!

I could not recommend this gym more. Instructor Boca is very welcoming and knowledgable. Coming with no past martial arts experience, this gym made me feel right at home. Boca is an elite practitioner and emphasizes sound technique.

Our 4 year old daughter is thoroughly enjoying the Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu instruction from Professor Boca and Coach Michelle. I especially appreciate their awareness of individual skill levels and maturity and take seriously the job of making sure each of the students is safe and getting individual attention to grasp the techniques. Professor and Coach are always attentive and supporting the kids to improve and grow in confidence. In addition, classes include activities, games and drills that are designed to keep training fun for students. I would definitely recommend them to others with young children interested in trying out the class.

Been coming here a couple weeks without any prior martial art experience and have been absolutely loving it. Boca is very welcoming to new-comers, and ensures we all train safely. Boca is also a very accomplished instructor that I feel lucky to be trained by. The classes have had a very good mix of training techniques that build off each other and then applying the techniques in a live roll situation.
