Bushido kyokai doji well facilitate. They have a nice size and clean changing room, too. It is in a large mall, with enough parking in front of the facility.

Great facility! Clean & decent. Most impressive was the students there were exchanging polite greetings each other, which represents the spirit of Bushido.

Here at Bushido, the community is super friendly and open, taught by the Sensei to help you understand the moves and weapons we do in class, even if you don't understand you can always ask and the Sensei will help. The location is beautiful, and the inside is well-kept, safe, and very opening. It is a real Japanese martial arts and can help provide you self-confidence. I highly recommend joining if you are looking into martial arts.

Traditional Japanese dojo. Not your watered-down Western-style dojo that is there just to take your money. This is the discipline I grew up with in Asia. I searched literally years for a dojo that would train my son in the ways I was raised. Years....and then Bushido Kyokai opened up 6 minutes from our home, 2 blocks away from my son's school.

Bushido Kyokai enables each student to reach success defined on their own terms. Kaicho Sanada is highly attentive to each individual and their unique path. He equips you with the tools and expertise necessary to reach where you want to be all while broadening your horizons along the way. The dojo’s serene and safe environment fosters personal growth and camaraderie among fellow practitioners. The skills you learn in class will sharpen your mind and shape your body to be better equipped in handling life’s waves as they come and go.

Learning the combined bushido way brings your inner self to meet the outer world. Learning from a Japanese born and trained sensei among a class of dedicated students is something that stands apart from many strip mall take my dough dojos. Highly recommend this for yourself and your kids.

Bushido Kyokai provides consistent high-quality lessons not only for self-defense but for daily life as well. The community and sensei have been nothing short of amazingly supportive and encouraging to further my own pursuit of a more active lifestyle as well as self-confidence. It is very refreshing to experience the traditional approach to martial arts and its application to modern times, which in turn helps better build respect and appreciation for the art. I highly recommend Bushido Kyokai to anyone and everyone!

At Bushido Kyokai, you are provided with a safe learning environment where you can go beyond your comfort zone and explore not only facets of yourself, but also the Way. The training is very close to the source, and the movements are explained thoroughly. When you are ready, you get to train with a myriad of weapons that I don’t believe is taught elsewhere to this degree. The community is also very welcoming and supportive at both the Gurnee and Schaumburg dojos; it is overall a phenomenal place to be a part of.

We just went to the new Schaumburg location to practice today! The place is so nice. Spacious and quiet. It is next to a beautiful park and the students have the luxuries to practice in a wonderful environment outdoors! So jealous! Who would not want to practice in the peaceful beautiful place like this? At the very beginning, we got involved in the program only because we wanted out son to learn to behave, to exercise and experience other types of cultures and immerse the philosophy behind that. Then I gradually saw his behavior changes. He is more polite and very nice to people. He listens to Sansei and all the people who are trying to help him. He will also help out with people that needs his help. I never thought this could be something that I CAN do, because I think I am too weak and not fit. But after first practice, I realized I had all this misconceptions of Bushido. It is for EVERYONE! It is really, like a family. Everyone is so nice and treats you with full respect. Also it is not about how strong you are, it is about how to use the strength. So as a weak petite woman, I found the exercise extremely interesting and useful. You basically use the attacker’s strength back onto his/herself. Now I am very lucky last year, when we drove past by Bushido Kyokai on Washington street in Gurnee, we saw people practicing martial art outside, and instead of looking away, we looked into this place. It has changed our life and made such positive impact for us!

The new location is very beautiful! I've been taking classes at the Gurnee location for almost a year, and I'm excited to train at the new location whenever I get the chance. We learn different types of weapon arts, close-contact self-defense, meditation, stretching, and Japanese culture. The community is very friendly, and it's very easy to get along with every and make friends. I recommend it to anyone who wants a boost in confidence and also be part of a close-knit community.

I've been training at the Bushido Kyokai Gurnee Dojo for about 2 years, and it's been a great experience. It's very exciting to see this new Bushido Kyokai Schaumburg Dojo opening up. It's in a very centralized, established, and lively location. I look forward to training at both the Schaumburg and Gurnee Bushido Kyokai Dojos moving forward.
