I was in town for a job training, so i looked around to keep training Bjj and I’m very impressed, the staff were very welcoming and Coach Junior was very friendly and willing to teach me even though I was there for such a short amount of time, rolling with him was such a different experience he is a very high level grappler and I definitely learned from him even with such small amount of time. I highly recommend this place if you are from the area and you want to get into combat sport or just Bjj

BTT and Professor Junior Olivera are such great additions to the MTC gym. You won't find a coach who is more passionate about teaching and encouraging his students. Professor Junior lives and breathes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! Being out of shape and broken myself, he has shown great patience and encouragement every time I have stepped into his gym.
Since the first day we stepped into the gym it has been nothing but a great experience. My son has really grown to like the sport thanks to coach Junior, Coach Junior does amazing with the kids. BTT Schaumburg is nothing short of amazing. Coach Junior is the perfect instructor. He cares about individual success -- whatever it may be. If you want to train for lifestyle. If you want to train for self defense. If you want to train for sport, he works with you to get you to your destination. I gain more confidence not just in Jiu Jitsu everyday that I train under him, but outside of the gym as well. He pushes you to be the best that you can be, and the best that you want yourself to be. His kids classes have been truly great. My two boys (and eventually my little girl) have loved his classes from the start. He provides clear direction, and keeps them engaged and makes the classes enjoyable but with skill-based technique games as well. The approach that Coach Junior and the rest of the coaches (Coach Dylan, Coach Michael, Coach Mac) take with the kids makes them feel like family. The kids used to be timid about 'sparring,' but now all of the kids can't wait to jump in and test out their technique in a safe and fun environment. All I see are smiles.
I can’t say enough good things about Brazilian Top Team in Schaumburg and Professor Junior! Junior is an amazing instructor- He gives clear demonstrations and is hands on throughout the entire class offering advice and support by coaching students through the positions and techniques. He’s extremely patient and thorough with his direction. His classes are very well thought out and intentional- they offer time to learn techniques, time to drill with partners, and time to practice and apply new skills! The facility is top notch- it’s a very clean and spacious gym with high quality mats. All of the students are very welcoming and willing to teach & learn alongside you! I highly recommend checking out BTT in Schaumburg at any level!

Professor junior is a great coach and really good with kids for the kids classes I can't express enough how patient he was and has been with my 5-year-old and as far as the adult classes wow please just come in and check it out if you have kids and if you're an adult looking for a good Jiu-Jitsu school with great people to be around this is the place Midwest Training Center Brazilian top team Schaumburg

Just started training at BTT, but from previous martial arts experience, I can already tell I’m in a great environment. Whether you’re looking to seriously push yourself, just want to get into shape and learn some basic BJJ, or are somewhere in between, Coach Junior Oliveira is the guy to train with. This is an awesome place to learn and grow your skills! I love the focus they have on building strong fundamentals. The coaching style is direct, detailed and easy to follow and the class structure gives me time to learn, drill and practice. I feel challenged and motivated every class! The atmosphere is a strong blend of traditional BJJ practices (bowing before entering/leaving the mat) and fun, friendly and relaxed community. I feel like I'm getting the authentic experience without being uptight or strict. The team is super supportive in guiding me through techniques and inspires me to keep coming back day after day!
