My son is learning so much about himself and others. Each instructor pours his or her heart and soul into training and pushing each student to do their best. It has been very inspiring to see my son grow so much in the few weeks we have been here. Would definitely recommend it to others.
I train with Sigung Monica Morse at Warrior Nation Self-Defense for many reasons. Let's start with the two most important, my kids. To be aware and trained to defend myself and them is priceless. In addition, we are learning self discipline, patience and self confidence. The importance of goals, and knowing no limits . Also, bullies happen on all levels no matter what age you are. Recognizing toxic people and having the mental strength and self control to rise above is just as meaningful as knowing you could block a punch or get out of a chokehold. It's empowering for kids and adults to feel safe and aware. Finally, Sigung Monica is a Martial Arts and Life Coach, who truly listens and can help me with any question. I’ve been with Monica Morse for 14 years of my life I started at 4 years old, now I’m 18 I’ve won 2 world titles 5 state championships and many other accolades. When she says she trains champions she means it, not only that she will stick with you when it’s tough think of ways to help you overcome fears and help create a better version of yourself. We started back in January with the hopes that our boys would get some exercise and make some friends. We were prepared for how much personal growth would be made in addition to a family like mindset.
Both of our grandkids are enrolled in the program. It’s been a great introduction to this discipline with lots left to learn! The instructors plan activities that are age appropriate while helping grow the students fitness and skill level. It’s not only martial arts skills but life lessons too. Highly recommend this program!
We first joined when my oldest was having some issues at school with other kids not being kind. That’s when Sigung Monica and Sifu Amber reached out and we decided it would be good to try a free class. He loved it so much that we signed up that day! My child’s confidence has bloomed and he speaks up more for himself now. And since all this, they’ve also started a little kids class that has been great for my youngest when he wants to be apart of brothers class but doesn’t quite have the focus for it yet! In the short amount of time we’ve been with Warrior Nation it’s become really special to us and we’re glad to be apart of it.

This is my favorite place of the week. I originally started my girls to see if it would help on there behavior as a stay at home mom of 4 and a dad that works almost 16 hour shift daily I needed some help! This is the place to be it has great energy , wonderful positive environment and helps hold your children more accountable. I have noticed a great change in my children over time as change takes time but we love it.

I am personally not in any kind of martial arts but my fiancée just earned her Black Belt earlier this year! She has been a part of Warrior Nation for nine years and even though she moved away from Texas to live with me in Arkansas, she continues to regularly attend as many classes, meetings, and competitions that she can because Warrior Nation has become a part of her family. Warrior Nation provides an excellent environment for learning martial arts. They expect hard work and discipline out of their students and make sure they are always giving 100% effort. More importantly: they also equally focus on respect, goal setting, confidence, and leadership skills. They are heavy on the instruction and correction, but equally heavy on the encouragement and praise. It’s been a wonderful environment for my 11 year old and we’re so glad we found a place for him to grow and learn a new skill.

We absolutely love Warrior Nation! What started with a trial class for my son to find something active to do besides sitting in front of a video game all day has turned into a family activity we all love. I have learned more than I imagined at Warrior Nation Self Defense. Not only is it an excellent exercise program it also covers all aspects of life. Mind, body & spirit training. It’s for all ages! The friendships that are made here are rock solid! The Black belt instructors are incredibly knowledgeable & supportive. I have seen so many kids go through this program and gain self respect, courage, and start training for a better life style. I Believe this class is an important foundation to all aspects of life and would recommend it to everyone! I homeschool my boys and we were looking for something for them to do. We saw a post regarding homeschool hours. We tried a class and we were hooked. The instructors are amazing. I can tell they love to put into these kids and families in general.Tye leadership is like no other My boys have been doing karate and I have seen a tremendous chance in them for good. They have learned good habits, commitment, how to push themselves. We have felt so welcomed by everyone. Is like a family. We love it here and would recommend 10/10. Is worth every investment.

Warrior Nation is amazing! I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Not only is self defense a useful life skill but the leaders emphasize the need for important character traits as vital for lifelong success which extend to all areas of life. There are no participation awards given in this dojo. Participants will work hard for every award and every new level they graduate. I thought when I first signed my 6 year old son up that he would have some fun, make friends, and learn some cool new karate skills. Although all of those things have certainly happened I had no idea that he would learn the respect, self-discipline, hard work, confidence, and responsibility that it takes to become a true champion in karate and in life. We love Warrior Nation!
Our family got our daughter signed up pretty soon after moving here and they welcomed us with open arms. The staff are strict but in a good way! Kids will learn to respect and listening. Now both of our kids go and they love it. Great business great people!!!
I placed my young son in karate when he was four years old. Best decision I ever made. He Has ADHD and this taught him confidence, focus, discipline and most importantly respect. He is now 18, a third degree black belt because of the woman who Trained him and taught him. She is the epitome of instructor. There is no one better and she teaches with love but she is stern and she accepts nothing but the best from her students. Highly recommend Warrior Nation to anyone and everyone who wants to learn martial arts.

Warrior Nation is a great community that we feel lucky to have found in Midland. Sigung Monica and the other black belts are positive role models for our kids. After trying other sports, Warrior Nation has really stood out. My kids love that it is fun and challenging, and I love the kind of people Warrior Nation inspires them to be. There is something for everyone at Warrior Nation: Karate, Jiu Jitsu, adult classes, kick-boxing, self-defense, etc.
