If you are looking for a brazilian jiujitsu gym, or martial arts gym to join in basingstoke, then this is what you need. Great vibes and community feel. Everyone is super friendly, and the coaches are so knowledgeable. Walking into a martial arts gym is the hardest part usually especially when new to something, but you will feel comfortable walking into urso immediately, and everyone there will make you feel at home. If you are looking to start your BJJ journey in Basingstoke, then this is the place you need to go.

I highly recommend Urso Jiu jitsu. I have trained at a lot of gyms over the years due to travelling for work. Urso has great coaches, great jiu jitsu and as importantly great people and vibes. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I’ve been training martial arts since I was six when I transferred over and started BJJ earlier this year urso has been the best place I’ve trained in 16 years of martial arts, Tarik and his coaching team have set up an amazing program as well as an amazing community within the club. After training at the club for 4 months I competed in my first competition and won 2nd in my category which I was super grateful for the excellent coaching and the club members who came out to support those competing
