I had so much fun and learned so much during the two courses I did at United Krav Maga! Patryk is so knowledgeable and ensures that each class is a great blend of learning, fitness, and fun. If you're debating enrolling in one of the session I highly reccomend you do because you won't regret it.

For a long time, I was looking for an activity that I would enjoy, that would teach me something, allow me to improve, and help me build muscle. Finally, I tried a several-week Krav Maga course for women. That ended my search and marked the beginning of a new chapter. I’ve been doing self-defense for two years now, and it’s great. I have muscles, strength, and more confidence when I walk down the street alone at night. I’m part of a group of people I can learn from, and that pushes me forward. The instructors help us improve and be effective. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. I recommend it to anyone who wants to work on themselves and learn not to be afraid to defend themselves. Hopefully we’ll see each other soon on the mats.

Excellent women’s self-defence workshop. Very informative and practical. I feel more confident waking alone now.

Been going to United Krav Maga Edinburgh for 1.5 years, and could not recommend it highly enough. It builds genuine confidence, fitness, and skill all at once, whilst also making new friends. The training is very inclusive and gives you skills which might well save your life - or someone else's one day.

I’ve been training with this Krav Maga group for a while now and honestly can’t recommend it enough. One of the best things about it is the atmosphere — there’s no ego or macho nonsense, just a really solid group of people all helping push each other to improve. The training is very focused on real-world self defence, both mentally and physically. There’s a big emphasis on situational awareness, avoiding confrontation where possible, and if things do go bad, learning how to react quickly and effectively to protect yourself and get out safely. The fitness side is tough as well, but in a good way. Nobody forces you beyond your limits, but you’re definitely encouraged to challenge yourself, and if you stick with it you’ll notice a huge difference in your fitness, confidence and overall mindset. One thing people should understand going in — you probably will pick up a few bruises. That’s just part of training realistically. To prepare for real-world situations, techniques need to be practiced properly in a safe and controlled environment, and sometimes that comes with a few knocks along the way. Great instructors, great people, and genuinely great training.

I’ve been training at Krav Maga Edinburgh and honestly it’s been a really positive experience. From the start, the whole team made me feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of fitness level or previous experience. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and push you to improve while still creating a safe and respectful environment to learn in. There’s a great mix of discipline, encouragement, and real-world practical training. What stands out most is the atmosphere. Everyone is there to help each other grow, and you genuinely feel part of the team very quickly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build confidence, fitness, self-defence skills, and be part of a solid community.

This was brilliant for me in terms of fitness and learning about self-defence. The trainers are amazing and made me feel confident without babying us. I’m a man but I’d say this would be a great idea for women - Krav really addresses differences in physical size. I recommend it to all the women I know who want to learn self-defence. The male and female trainers are first rate.

Unbeatable Training and Community! I cannot recommend United Krav Maga Edinburgh enough. My experience participating here has been nothing short of transformative. Why You Should Join: The Training: It’s tough and physically demanding, but that’s exactly why it works. My fitness levels went through the roof. The Coaches: Absolutely top-tier. They are professional, encouraging, and ensure everything is really well-organised and safe. Life Skills: Beyond the physical workout, the practical self-defence and life skills I’ve learned are invaluable. It’s a massive confidence booster. The Vibe: What really sets this place apart is the great community. The support from both the instructors and fellow students makes every session fun, even when you're working hard. If you’re looking to get fit, learn self defence, and join a fantastic group of people, this is the place to be!
