Ignored for Over a Year — Unclear Terms, No Accountability, and Real Consequences I don’t usually post reviews, but this experience was so poorly handled that I feel obligated to share it. In early 2024, my boyfriend and I signed up for what we thought was a 3-month membership. During registration, the pricing was presented in monthly terms, so I genuinely believed we’d be charged monthly over three months — not that we were entering into an auto-renewing annual contract billed in full every three months. When a $574.85 charge appeared unexpectedly, I reached out the very next day — respectfully and in good faith — to clarify the charge and ask if we could cancel and find a reasonable solution. I explained that we were both students, unable to attend during that period, and that the charge had caught us off guard. I acknowledged my misunderstanding, apologized, and tried to meet them halfway. What followed was incredibly frustrating: I was ignored for over a year. I sent multiple messages, called, left voicemails, and continued asking for updates — all time-stamped and documented. Responses were vague at best, and follow-ups that were promised never happened. Eventually, I was able to speak to the owner and saved that exchange as proof of my efforts. He shared the response from the admin team, which stated that issuing a refund would be too much of an administrative burden due to tax implications. Instead, they offered a “banked membership”, which I neither needed nor wanted — while ignoring all the communication attempts I made from day one. The owner then gave me the admin’s phone number. I called and explained my situation, showing that I had all the proof to support my claim. She told me to call her back on May 8 at 1 p.m. — which I did. She never answered. I left voicemails, sent text messages, and even followed up later — but I never received a single response. Even the owner, who initially engaged with me, stopped replying entirely. This wasn’t just poor service — it had real-life consequences. Because of the timing and size of the charge, my boyfriend missed the deadline to pay his university tuition and had to postpone his entire semester. The only positive thing I can say is that the classes I took initially were good and worth the price. But the complete lack of accountability, communication, and empathy from the staff and leadership ruined my experience and my perception of the business. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I genuinely hope they reconsider how they treat their customers moving forward. I’ve left captures of the conversation so each can make their mind about this situation

Best club in Montréal. Feels like a second home with talented trainers and a great judo program for kids and adults. Very clean.

The coaching staff are very passionate, helpful & supportive, they like to help each individual & to help focus on his/her strengths & improves their weaknesses. The team mates I met 3 months ago have become like family, there's no judging when you step into the gym, it's a very friendly atmosphere. Not only that, they have something for everyone. Gym fully equipped with A/C, wall to wall matted room, sauna & the nicest bathrooms to be seen in a gym. Check it out for yourselves!

Best MMA gym in the area. Not only does the membership give you unlimited access to any class (judo, wrestling, Muy Thai) but they also have a little weight room in the back. The latter was important for me so that you can complement your martial art classes with strength training. Place is also quite spacious and well ventilated (new ACs installed). Management is also very cool and involved with the grappling classes which fosters a very strong sense of community with all the members.
