Visited this gym from Boston and happy to have made time to do so on a visit to Montreal. Clean facilities, friendly faces, great instruction - we made this our very last stop before heading back to Boston, which we were able to do thanks to showers available in the facility. We attended the women's class on Sunday and it seems like this particular class attracts a series of regulars who normally train at other surrounding gyms, in addition to those who train at Mizu. Everyone was super friendly and every roll felt very safe. Would absolutely recommend dropping in if ever you're in Montreal and looking to squeeze a class in!

Clean gym and good vibes! If you're a woman who's a bit scared of trying martial arts, don't hesitate to go there. They are very welcoming, and all of the trainers are total sweethearts.

I’m visiting from Taiwan and was looking to find a place to train at and oh boy did I find a gem. First of all, this place is sparkling clean, beautiful and open- good location and easy to find. The coach, knowledge, great training partner, super welcoming and really creates a warm and friendly atmosphere- everyone at the gym was super friendly and helpful- training is very tough but not overwhelming. If you’re new or not to BJJ or martial arts, don’t think too much and just go to this gym. They really show Globetrotters spirit.

Big bright training area! This gym was extremely multicultural and welcoming. I joined in for a complex class which was explained so even a beginner could understand and follow along. As someone travelling, I wish I planned to spend more time at Mizu. They roll longer than expected after class, which is awesome!

I went at noon on a Friday for the very first time, free trial class. As a brown belt and practitioner of 10 years, I was thoroughly impressed. Anytime you get to learn/train with literal world champions, like Brianna it’s an opportunity not to be missed. Everyone was really friendly and I got to train with all 5 belt levels. Enjoyed seeing many different styles and I definitely see myself becoming a full time Mizu student in the future, a 5 star first time experience.
