Cool hidden gem. If you need to learn BJJ this is the place check it out. Very friendly and knowledgeable coach
Posted 3 years agoThis gym is filled with amazing instructors dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. It is a professional, yet unintimidating environment to show up and work hard. It's a great balanced atmosphere of comradery and team. Unlike other gyms that teach BJJ, this one has multiple black belts, as well as many other advanced belts that assist with instruction. Throughout the week there is a multitude of advanced, beginner, and open mat to fit anyone's schedule. Aside from BJJ, there is a lot of available instruction on MMA. If you're curious about it, show up and take a tour. The facilities are exceptionally clean, and welcoming. See you there!
Posted 4 years agoi tried all of the major gyms out in the area of Newark,DE (at least 5 different ones) and even went to one for a year. this gym is by far the best compared to the others. they dont treat you like someone who is just there to pay the bills. everyone there knows your name and its the most comfortable place you will ever train. not to mention it houses one of the only nationally certified bjj black belts in DE, who will actually train with you (so much some days you'll wish he didnt lol). in every other gym ive been to the owner sits back and collects money, this guy will teach you and roll/stike with you. if you're into bjj, mma, just want to learn a martial art, or get in shape this is the absolute best place to go to in the Newark, DE and surrounding area.

Posted 10 months agoWhen I first came to the University of Delaware, I was looking for a place to learn self defense/BJJ/and MMA. I visited a couple of gyms in the area (around 5 or so) but none even came close to this place. The instruction is incredible and they really focus on the small details that matter. The 2 or 3 hours a day I spent on the mats at Triple Threat were the best parts of my college experience.
