  I’ve trained Many Years with the Owner and gained more knowledge in just the first 6 months I went here then the 8 years I had in other Martial Arts. If you want to be trained by the best then here it is. Their is simply no one better or near qualified then this school. I left for a while but I am getting back into it to get my technique back and better. Dan.B

  My experience here was tremendous. Allen does a great job explaining the various techniques and steps in order to execute various moves in the art of Jiu-Jitsu. His knowledge and experience is immense, and he imparts it on you in a way that keeps you engaged and learning throughout the session. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Jiu-Jitsu, other combat sports, or anyone in search of self defense courses. I will for sure be returning again and look forward to further developing my skills.

  With the growing popularity of BJJ, MMA and other contact sports. A demand is there for learning martial arts. And when choosing a school you must be very specific and particular. Professionalism and skill is a must when choosing the right school. There is no doubt in my mind that Dauntless has mastered these and more traits that are extremely important. The value of a teacher is priceless. You are not shopping for clothes or food. You are deciding on something that can save your life, give discipline to the youth and make you a better person. We train so we can compete and we train so we don’t have to fight. Knowing how to protect yourself builds the confidence you need so you won’t become a target for the wicked. And let me tell you after training with many different coaches and schools. Allen Sachetti and his two sons Josh & Caleb are how they say “meat and potatoes “! Allen Sachetti has the best recipe for whatever your looking to do in martial arts. Be it training to compete at the highest levels in BJJ or MMA. If your looking to have your children study martial arts. Or if you are looking to gain discipline and to protect yourself. Josh and Caleb are his protégés and loving sons. They both compete at the highest levels all offer the world. They take pride especially with the youth classes. They teach more then just BJJ. They give your children the opportunity to discover their hidden potential. By building their confidence and understanding the world of martial arts they will never forget. They will be able to apply these skills to their everyday life’s.They encourage respect and honor. So your children will not only learn the best martial arts provided. They will learn a valuable moral method that I believe every child should learn. Be careful who you let train your children. Remember they are learning a skill that could be used for wrong. But with this family. And I like to say family because that’s what we are at Dauntless. You will never have to worry because of the proper moral attitudes developed there. So if you want your kids to learn from the “Real McCoy”. You best come down to Dauntless asap. Ok for you competitive future UFC champions. There is no other place to go. For ground, stand up and fight science. Dauntless is the place for you and anyone that wants a career as a fighter. The physical aspect of fighting is only half of it. The mind is our strongest weapon. Allen will make sure you develop physically and mentally. These have to coexist if your looking to be great at fighting. Also sheer will is another great tool that Allen will develop with time. Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day. If your looking to be great you need great teachers. And that’s what you get at Dauntless. The skill, technique and work ethic have surpassed any school I have trained at. They don’t just give out belts to make profit. They mold you into a new person and train at high levels. You have to earn every stripe, belt and compliment here. There is no favoritism or free rides. This is the school for serious fighters and children. Your not only getting first rate skills and techniques. You will also be joining a family. Building relationships that are surrounded by moral values, integrity, respect, honor and work ethic. So come in and visit. Watch a class or wear sweats to sit in for a class. Hopefully you will and join the team that cares about their students.

I have been training with them doing MMA and BJJ for months now and I’m beyond happy how far iv come with my training. Look no further Dauntless is the place to go.

  I've been taking BJJ classes at Dauntless for nine months now and I feel like it's the first real big investment I've made in myself. The instructors are good, as in, clear and thorough in their explanation and demonstrations of how to do moves and they are patient in explaining and showing you the moves when you're working with your partner, if you get stuck or have questions. In class we typically do warm-ups, then have instruction, partner practice and have a gauntlet. At the end you can pick people (as in other students) to roll with or sit and talk with others and watch people roll. I'm really glad I've started taking jiu-jitsu, and I can see improvements in my skills as time goes on. I've also taken some SFA (street fighting axiom) classes on and off at Dauntless. SFA is a street fighting survival class (offered in private lessons) and it's a good alternative to learn some striking offence and defence (outside of the MMA classes offered by Dauntless) if you are not keen on hitting and getting hit quite like in the MMA classes. For someone who's never taken striking classes before, the movements (in SFA) seem to get easier with time. I say this because the movements have a lot of parts to them but the instructors made sure to correct me on all of the errors that I was making, which took a long time but I did eventually learn the moves and each time I go back after a break the movements and move combinations that I learned in the past are easier to execute and new ones are easier to pick up.

  My son Connor has been been taking classes at Dauntless I guess about 9 months. I have visited the gym and felt very welcomed by Mr. Sachetti and his sons. Connor was encouraged to participate in a tournament and yesterday was his first one. I have been on cloud 9 since last night beaming with pride. The sons Josh and Caleb were raised well and it shows. They really made me feel welcomed yesterday and are super respectful. I cant wait for the next one! Thank you Dauntless.

  I am a father and grandfather who has been at Dauntless Brazilian JIu-Jitsu for more than 7 years now. I have watched how they teach children BJJ & MMA both now for quite some time and I can tell you that the Sachetti's are OUTSTANDING in their abilities to instill within children an amazing Skill Level as well as a genuine confidence that comes from real experience, a good moral discipline that is really missing in today's schools and a focus that makes kids achievers. Allen & Maribeth are the first generation at Dauntless and their depth of knowledge in BJJ & MMA is only surpassed by their compassion and patience that they apply to the children's lessons. Josh and Caleb are the 2nd generation who run the kid's classes now and they are equally patient and caring with the kids as well as NEXT LEVEL in their Skills and understanding of Energy and Leverage. Josh won the 2021 World Sub Only BJJ Championships Black Belt 205 Division and Caleb won the NAGA PA BJJ Championships. They both have won and continue to win more Championships than I can remember. Not to mention the MMA fights they have won too. Bottom line as one parent to another if you are looking for the BEST BJJ & MMA instruction for your Kids with real depth and legitimate skill level then come to Dauntless BJJ in Newark DE. The kids who come out of this school are truly blessed not only in BJJ but also with serious life skills that put them far ahead of those who never trained. I am talking real courage, genuine self esteem and RESPECT for others that you don't often see.

  The manner in which Jiu-Jitsu is taught to you is highly intuitive through its grappling and learning it along as you wrestle. I wish to thank this school for helping me to "empty my mind" and not think about how I learn my technique through wrestling but instead feel and react. I just have to add that their kids BJJ class is Amazing!! They really know how to teach kids and they make them really good. No wonder they keep winning tournaments all over. T Josh & Caleb are patient and break down the moves for the kids into digestible pieces and then put it all together again. WOW

  I’ve been training here for a year now and I have to say I very much enjoy it. The people here are welcoming and try to build you from the ground up. They are patient, personal, and enjoy teaching and training. In the past year I’ve grown very passionate about this sport and this gym has helped me develop strong skills both on and off the mat. It is both challenging and rewarding. I can honestly say that my only regret is not starting here sooner. I appreciate the progress that I’ve made this far, as well as the friendships.

  My son currently attends Dauntless MMA and they are Amazing with the kids they teach them discipline and fighting skills. If anyone thinks otherwise they are too soft!! this is Combat sports, Not basketball or Soccer.

  If i could give it more stars ⭐️ i would. Dauntless BJJ not only teaches you BJJ moves they teach you how to counter to get out of that move. They ensure you are doing it right by the way each move feels when executing a move on each other. During sparing nobody has been seriously been hurt the entire time I been going to this class. They ensure everyone understands the rules and they are very friendly and welcoming to any new comer that want to learn BJJ. If you live in Delaware this is the place you want to train. Amazing 😉 atmosphere.

  My son is just starting out in this sport as a teenager and he is progressing rapidly in skill, knowledge, and discipline in BJJ. He loves it! As a parent, I like the personalized attention and instruction my son receives at Dauntless and the constructive feedback that the instructors provide is always positive. I also notice a positive difference in my son's demeaner both at home and in school since starting BJJ at Dauntless 2 months ago!

  My kids and I have been members of this school for 6 months. The kids classes are ran great and keep the kids physically fit and teach them self control and discipline. The Adult classes (MMA/BJJ) are excellent. I come 5 to 6 days a week and have learned so much. I have lost over 40 pounds and feel so much better than I used to. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. I have and will continue to recommend coming in to try out some classes.

  I've been to many MMA schools, and this one is by far, my favorite. Guys who are primarily strikers will benefit greatly from the takedown defense and guys who are primarily grapplers will gain the tools they need to transition to MMA rules. To top things off, a lot of the stuff you learn here isn't taught in other schools. So if you want to be equipped with the best tools for your trade, come to Dauntless MMA. Otherwise, you'll really be missing out.

  I'm a beginner in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but I have done his Survival Fighting Axiom for a couple of years now and can see that he puts as much effort into teaching BJJ as he does SFA. Mr. Sachetti always reiterates that it's not just the moves that are important but the energy within the moves. His mastery of the discipline is obvious and he works very hard to instill his knowledge and skill level into his students. My teenage daughter also enjoys both his SFA and BJJ classes and loves grappling with his wife, Mrs. Sachetti. Her skill level and teaching skills are extraordinary and she is very easy to learn from. She works hard to help my daughter feel the opponent's energy and use it to her advantage. We are both pleased.

Sachetti and BJJ 1st Degree Black Belt Maribeth Sachetti develop in you the highest degree of Grappling Sensitivity and Technical Precision. They provide you from the Soundest BJJ Foundations into Intermediate and then more Advanced material. Sensei Sachetti has amazing depth in his understanding of BJJ as well as excellent communication and teaching skills.   Great people here. I learned a lot and had a good time. Mr. Sachetti was a good instructor and his son Josh was amazing and patient. My issue was outside of the Jiu Jitsu class. Mr. Sachetti seemed like he was always trying to shake more money out of me pushing to take many more classes on me that I couldn't quite afford. Worst of all when the pandemic hit the gym was closed for months and I was still charged due to "the contract". We spoke many times and I tried to explain why this wasn't right and he proceeded to bend the words in the contract to make them suit the pandemic. I do understand he needs to make his living too, but the behavior I've seen from him outside the mat was unacceptable.

  The way they instruct young children under the age of five is questionable. Do yourself a favor and talk to other BJJ parents in the area before you sign a contract with these folks. We have friends who own reputable BJJ studios in other states, and I wish I would have reached out to them prior to committing to a three month contract with Dauntless because their reputation is not the best. The adult classes seem legit, but their approach to teaching children is not on par with similar programs. Elite Jiu-Jitsu in Newark has offered us three months for free to make up for the bad experience we had. We are happier there.

  The studio never got my authorization for my children to attend. The girls father took them there without my authorization. I do not agree with their participation and they should be required to get consent from BOTH parents due to the dangerous nature of this sport. I will hold them completely liable if they are injured in anyway. Additionally, my daughters keep coming home with ringworm from the uncleaned mats.
