I can't say enough about how much the instructors care that the students learn the material thoroughly. The classes are fun, and they are a great mental and physical workout! I appreciate the supportive environment. Anyone who gets their combative's belt will know that they earned it.

I signed up my son and daughter for the Bully Proof program here. They absolutely love it and have become much more confident and strong - both physically and mentally. Coach Ray is great with kids, so my kids look forward to training with him each week.

My boys joined Tri-cities Gracie Jiujitsu recently having trained elsewhere and their feedback has been amazing. They praised everything from the facilities to the instructors to the curriculum. Their instructors Raymond and Iman were very patient with the kids, but were also very fun and instructive. I'd also like to mention Alasdair who helped to get us registered. He was super courteous, informative and responsive. We feel comfortable that our kids are in a safe and trustworthy environment. We couldn't have been more fortunate to have found Tri-cities Gracie Jiujitsu! 6 stars ****** Highly recommended!

You’re likely seeking a jiu-jitsu instructor with real skills for self-defense, so this first negative review aims to be upfront. Instructor Ray’s brown belt feels like a participation award, as blue belts easily submit him in sparring, and he discourages submissions, undermining training. This can leave a false sense of confidence, which is risky for real-world scenarios. Consider exploring other instructors and testing a single month, as the gym’s memberships are hard to cancel.
