I came to 10th Planet Vancouver after 6 years of training at another gym, and in less than a year here, I’ve progressed more than ever. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming, and the instructors are truly top-tier in Canada, offering limitless experience and well-structured classes. The schedule is packed with morning, noon, and evening sessions almost every day, and there are training partners of all sizes and skill levels, from hobbyists to competitors. They even offer free trial classes, so you can see for yourself. Easily the best place to level up your jiu-jitsu!

Training at 10th Planet Vancouver has been one of the best decisions I've made for both myself and my children over a decade ago. This isn’t your typical jiu jitsu gym. The vibe is chill but focused. There’s no ego, just a room full of people who want to help each other get better. The coaching is ELITE. Nabil has a deep understanding of the 10th Planet system, but more importantly, he knows how to teach it in a way that actually sticks. Whether we're breaking down a rubber guard sequence or troubleshooting entries to the truck, every class feels structured but still leaves space to experiment and learn using CLA. What makes this gym stand out is the balance between intensity and community. You’ll get tough rolls with people who are there to push you, not hurt you. The advanced students take the time to help newer students, and nobody acts like they’re above anyone else. Classes are all no-gi, and the 10th Planet approach leans heavily into modern grappling. Leg locks, back takes, and modern transitions you won’t see in more traditional gyms. If you’re tired of drilling the same gi collar chokes and want to learn a more dynamic game, this is the spot. Facilities are clean and the mats are well maintained. Whether you’re looking to compete, improve your ground game for MMA, or just challenge yourself mentally and physically, 10th Planet Vancouver delivers. Not for people looking to "just get a sweat", you will be challenged. But if you’re serious about learning and showing up consistently, this place will sharpen you fast.

I joined 10th Planet Vancouver in 2018 as a brand-new blue belt, looking for a challenge and a way to stay healthy and youthful as I moved into my mid-30s. What I found here was so much more than just a place to train. Under Coach Nabil’s guidance, I not only saw dramatic improvement in my jiu-jitsu, but I also found a true sense of community—an extended family that supports, motivates, and inspires each other on and off the mats. The environment is welcoming, intense in the best way, and filled with people who genuinely want to grow together. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. Whether you’re just starting out or coming in with experience, I believe anyone who visits will feel the same way. Ossss

If you want to compete nogi, 10p is the best place to go! Nabil creates a caring and performing environment that enables athletes to reach their potential and achieve results.

I love my 10p family ♡ Nabil is the best - his coaching and classes are always fun, challenging and well taught. I've learned so much training under him - so many wonderful people here and always great training partners. I also value that he promotes people based on skill level when the time is right/they earned it. Ken & Omeed are also wonderful people along with all the other coaches here.
